Pet care experience
Through Trust and Love we Grow
I’ve communed with animals since I was a little girl and have continued to learn and grow my relationship with different species, using my understanding to be a supportive sitter to pet parents who want it! I worked at boarding facilities and vets offices for 5 years, caring for all types of animals while dealing with a wide range of medical needs. Handling different temperaments and working with a variety of behaviors. I’ve always been an animal lover and have had a number of pets growing up. Currently I have a dog, snake, and isopods! In the past I owned chickens, horses, cats, rabbits, fish, and a hamster. I’ve cared for animals in all types of environments and will have no problem learning your pets regular schedule and needs. Helping them with the stress they might experience being handled by a new person. I’m proficient at administering medication, including injections and subcutaneous fluids. If your pets working with a disability or is senile in old age then I’m your girl! My work with a wide range of animals, in and out of a professional space, has prepared me to be flexible and knowledgeable in how I give care to different animals. It’s my passion to be aware of their individual needs, from training to knowing when I’m hitting that perfect itchy spot. I can even help with things like stretching and massaging for those who need a little more TLC!

Safety, trust & environment
I will care for your animal in the same way I care for my own pets and in any way you may prefer. My main goal is to fulfill their needs while keeping them safe and to carry out any requests you may have for me. I do my best to stay in tune with your pets natural instincts and ways of socializing so we can flow better in our time being spent together. It’s important to me that they feel respected and acknowledged in a calm safe manner.
Ratings and reviews
Kiah was top notch! Very communicative and sent lots of pics and videos. She stayed 2 nights in my home and my dog who is used to not a lot of different people caring for her, did really well with Kiah. You can tell she knows a lot about dogs and how to approach them to meet them where they are at and provide what they need. My dog also takes a thyroid pill 2x per day and she was great about giving her the medication. It is so nice to have peace of mind when you are away with your home and with your furry family member.

Great job. Good communication. She sent photos. We would highly recommended her .

Excellent care of our senior dog, chickens, and 1 horse and mini horse. Sent pics regularly, and followed our instructions very well. Highly recommend!
Kaia was wonderful! She sent pics and videos, which was much appreciated. She was very thoughtful - my Boxer Gracie Jane just had ACL surgery, thank goodness she was willing to deal with a post op dog, but I was concerned Gracie wasn't drinking enough, so Kaia later sent a video of Gracie drinking, which was so reassuring! That's where I appreciate her thoughtfulness. She took great care of my senior cat Nala, as well. When I came home from being away, Gracie kept going to the guest room bed smelling for Kaia, and a number of times got on the bed and pouted! Even this morning she went in looking for her and sniffing around! That let me know she really liked Kaia! The house was in order, meds were given, food and water bowls filled - much appreciated! - Lisa -

She was awesome.

Kiah is great at reading our dog’s energy. She cut a walk short to not overwork him but spend the remaining time playing in the backyard with him. She’s such a good resource for us!

Schedule
I’m currently transitioning to a full time walker/sitter so my schedule is completely open for the most part. I have more time than ever to be of services to owners and their creatures! It’s such a joy for me to play the supporting role to the fur babies who need it.

- Let me know if there is any behavior I should know about or specific need your pet may have so I can accommodate. Things like fence jumping, digging, bolting out the door, or counter surfing, are good things to know about. As well as any allergies they might have or if they are on medication and may experience symptoms. Let me know what triggers them to be unsafe or show dangerous behavior towards themselves or myself. If you have a pet who has trouble socializing or being walked by someone new then we can talk about how to go about making them feel secure in this new interaction. The more I know about how you communicate with each other on the regular the more I can be welcoming to them in your absence. There is nothing to silly to mention. I’m happy to work with any kind of behavioral hurdles or quirks they might have so they can enjoy themselves as much as possible. You’ll be resting easy when you are away. If I have to put in more effort to make them feel safe and secure, then I’m happy to do it!
