Pet care experience
🐾 Your Pet’s New Bestie!
I’ve I’m a caring, patient, and dependable pet sitter who genuinely enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or simply prefer a little extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable providing basic daily care such as feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and keeping pets comfortable in their home. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and make sure pets receive the same consistency and care they’re used to while their owners are away. My goal is simple: to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind. 🐶🐱💕

Safety, trust & environment
The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care are my top priorities. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to learn their personality, routines, boundaries, and specific needs. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow their instructions closely. I make sure pets have access to fresh water, food, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and enrichment. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and other potential safety concerns to help prevent pets from getting loose or into anything they shouldn’t. I understand that being away from their owner can be stressful for some pets, so I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment where they can feel safe and cared for. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind while they’re away.

Schedule
My schedule is currently very open and flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’ll be starting school toward the end of September, but my class schedule will still allow for flexibility. My work schedule is also relatively flexible, so I’m able to work with different routines and accommodate pet parents’ needs whenever possible. I’m happy to discuss schedules, routines, and specific care needs ahead of time to make sure I can provide the best care possible.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know as much as possible about their normal routine and individual needs. Helpful information includes their feeding schedule and dietary restrictions, potty or litter box routine, favorite foods and treats, personality, energy level, favorite toys and activities, sleeping arrangements, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. I’d also like to know how they interact with other people and animals, whether they are comfortable being handled, and anything that may make them nervous, anxious, or uncomfortable. Information about allergies, sensitivities, escape tendencies, house rules, and emergency contacts is also important. The more I know about a pet ahead of time, the better I can keep their routine consistent and make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re in my care.
