I’ve had my own dog for 4 years and raised him from a puppy, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. As a dog owner and Rover user myself, I understand the level of care, love and attention every dog deserves. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness always come first, and I’ll make sure they’re treated like one of my own while they’re with me. I also have a real soft spot for dachshunds and specialise in caring for them. I understand their little personalities, their quirks, and the extra love and patience they need. I’ve looked after so many dachshunds for longer stays and would love to become a regular sitter for owners looking for a safe, loving temp home for their dog while their owners are away.

Khalid was absolutely wonderful with my darling sausage dog Milo. He provided excellent care, communicated consistently, and sent great photo/video updates. Milo was completely relaxed and happy when I got home. I highly recommend Khalid, and will definitely book again!
Khalid was absolutely wonderful with Latte! He was such a kind and caring person, and I felt very reassured knowing Latte was in such good hands. Since Khalid has his own dog, Noodle, it was clear that he is very experienced and genuinely loves and understands dogs. He was so gentle and caring with Latte, and he kept me updated almost every hour with plenty of photos and videos. His communication was excellent, and his kindness and behaviour made me feel completely at ease. I’m really grateful for the care he gave Latte and would definitely recommend Khalid to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter! 🐾❤️

I can’t praise Khalid highly enough for looking after my little puppy; he sent daily updates about their walks. It was a very last-minute booking, but he took him on without any problems. I’d highly recommend him because he knows how to handle a dog and how to keep him occupied.
Edgar bonded with Khalid straight away, as if they already knew each other. After that first five seconds of my little pup showing me with his body language that he was in good hands, Khalid continued to make me feel assured that my baby was having a great time every day with him and his dog Noodles. I would absolutely recommend Khalid to anyone who wants to be sure their fur baby is loved and cared for while they’re away.

Schedule
Well, I am a full time dog sitter/walker. You can expect a tailored and regular scheduled time to hang out, go for walks at the local parks. Lots of attention provided! We are very active and ratio about 3 to 4 walks a day as we enjoy getting out into the fields and enjoying the day.

A typical day
A typical day with me is full of attention, company and plenty of affection. I work around your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding times, naps or just having someone nearby for cuddles and reassurance. I know how important it is for dogs to feel settled and safe, so I make sure they have a calm, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home. For more social pups, there’ll be lots of interaction and play, and for dogs who prefer a quieter pace, I’m just as happy keeping things gentle and comforting. I’m especially used to small dogs and dachshunds, so I understand their little routines, their need for attention, and of course their love of blankets, comfort and being close to their people.

- Before any stay, I’d love to know a little about your dog’s routine, personality and any specific needs so I can make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. Things like feeding times, walking routine, sleeping arrangements, toilet habits, favourite toys, and how they are around other dogs or when left alone are always helpful to know. It’s also important that I’m aware of any medical needs, allergies, anxieties, behavioural quirks, or anything that helps me understand how best to care for them. The more I know, the better I can make their stay feel safe, calm and like a home away from home.
