Before any stay, I’d love to know a little about your dog’s routine, personality and any specific needs so I can make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. Things like feeding times, walking routine, sleeping arrangements, toilet habits, favourite toys, and how they are around other dogs or when left alone are always helpful to know. It’s also important that I’m aware of any medical needs, allergies, anxieties, behavioural quirks, or anything that helps me understand how best to care for them. The more I know, the better I can make their stay feel safe, calm and like a home away from home.

A typical day with me is full of attention, company and plenty of affection. I work around your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding times, naps or just having someone nearby for cuddles and reassurance. I know how important it is for dogs to feel settled and safe, so I make sure they have a calm, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home. For more social pups, there’ll be lots of interaction and play, and for dogs who prefer a quieter pace, I’m just as happy keeping things gentle and comforting. I’m especially used to small dogs and dachshunds, so I understand their little routines, their need for attention, and of course their love of blankets, comfort and being close to their people.
