As a full-time teacher, I’ve structured my availability to prioritize pet care before and after work, as well as on weekends. My mornings and evenings are set aside for walks, check-ins, and playtime, and I’m fully available on Saturdays and Sundays. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life—I have my own senior dog and run a small pet care business, so making time for pets is part of my everyday routine. It brings me joy, peace, and a sense of purpose!

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my priority is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. In your home, I follow your pet’s regular routine closely—feeding, walking, medication, and playtime—so there’s minimal disruption while you're away. I respect your space and always leave it clean and secure. If your pet visits my home, they'll be welcomed into a calm, pet-friendly environment with access to nearby walking trails and plenty of cozy spots to rest. I only host a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each one gets personalized attention. I also send regular photo and video updates so you feel connected every step of the way.

I also like to know: Feeding schedule and diet restrictions Medical needs or medications Comfort items (favorite toy, blanket, etc.) How they react to new people, other animals, or being left alone Any behavioral notes—are they shy, anxious, or extra playful? The more I know upfront, the better I can make your pet feel safe and loved while you’re away!

I love learning what each pet enjoys and tailoring the experience just for them! For some, that means calm walks and gentle companionship. For others, it might be exploring new smells on a trail, playing tug-of-war, or enjoying belly rubs and snuggles on the couch. I also like incorporating enrichment activities like treat puzzles or hide-and-seek games to keep their minds engaged. I follow your pet’s routine and energy level to make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away!

Hi there! I'm Khadija—an animal lover, full-time teacher, and proud pet mom to a 10-year-old pup who’s like my son. I’ve been pet sitting professionally since 2018 and also run my own pet care business. Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since childhood—I grew up with dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, and fish, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of pets and personalities. I'm currently pursuing my Doctorate in Education (EdD), so I understand the importance of structure, patience, and compassion—qualities I bring into every pet care experience. I offer reliable and loving care with a flexible schedule that fits around my teaching hours: Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM–8:00 AM and 5:00 PM–11:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: Fully available I treat every pet like family and am happy to accommodate special routines, medication needs, or extra cuddles. Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or just keeping your furry friend company, you can count on me for dependable care and a warm, positive attitude.
