My name is Kezia and I love dogs 🐾 I truly feel they teach us so much and add so much joy among other things to our lives. My sweet Lucky boy crossed the rainbow bridge in March of 2024 … one month shy of his 17th birthday. We rescued Lucky at a year old and was blessed to have him for 16 years. Lucky was kind enough to share his home with all of our Rover visitors over the years. I miss him so deeply everyday, however, I am grateful to still be able to have room in my heart to spend time and love and care for other dogs. Upon rescuing Lucky, I read dog training books , attended classes with him to help him overcome his anxiety and helped him learn basic commands and tricks. Training Lucky increased my patience. I have also read books on reading dog's body language. I think about becoming a dog trainer at times. I was able to learn a great deal about senior dog care having had Lucky until almost 17. It requires a level of patience, more time and extra care which I was more than welcome to provide to him and I will provide to your senior dog if needed. Your dog will be in excellent care with me. I have a lot of patience and enjoy teaching dogs commands and tricks. One of my favorite things to do was to take my pooch to the dog park. I love seeing all the dogs happy and free. It’s sought of therapeutic for me as well. I will make sure your dog feels at home, including practicing / teaching of basic commands with positive reinforcement.. I am available to care for your pet through the night, daily walks and play during the day. When I go to work, your dog will be safe behind a gate with all of their familiar items. If your dog enjoys their crate, you are welcome to bring it. I will cuddle with your pet if they like , play with them and do whatever is needed to make them feel comfortable. I will send you daily updates of your pooch including pictures and videos.
