Here’s a good way to phrase it: I’m currently between full-time roles, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care, and I can usually accommodate mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Because my schedule is open, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, stick closely to their routines, and be reliable for last-minute or recurring bookings.

It’s also important for me to know about any medical needs, allergies, anxiety, fears, leash behavior, or triggers around other dogs, people, or loud noises. The more I understand their personality and needs, the better I can make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

A typical day starts with making sure each pet feels comfortable and settled. I’ll follow their normal routine for feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and rest so they feel safe and cared for. For fun, I like doing activities based on the pet’s personality and energy level — walks around the neighborhood, fetch, tug toys, sniff breaks, training practice, or just relaxing and giving them attention if they’re more calm or senior. I’m very attentive to their mood, so I’ll make sure they get the right balance of exercise, affection, and downtime.
