Friendly, reliable dog owner
I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.

Schedule
I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.
Pets
A typical day
I typically do two decent length walks per day with my dog and in between we do lots of walking and running around my very big garden, chasing balls or sticks.
