Big Fenced Yard + Daily Photos 🐶
Hi pet parents! My mother and I have lived in Springfield our entire lives, and we've been caring for dogs in our home since 2017. We've loved every one of them. We keep our groups small, so each pup gets plenty of attention and someone is always around to keep an eye on them. We'll also send daily photo updates, so you never have to wonder how they're doing. We have a large quarter acre fenced yard connected to our home, and the dogs go out together about 4-5 times a day for around 30 minutes each. We adjust that based on your dog's age and the weather. Dogs of all sizes are welcome. We've added custom gates inside our home, so bigger and smaller dogs can have their own space when needed, and older pups can get some peace and quiet. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler, and now we have the complete opposite: a small, shy Sheltie we adopted from one of our past clients. Living with her has made us especially good with nervous pups, and we're also comfortable with seniors, puppies, and dogs who need medication. I've been crazy about animals since I was a kid and was sure I'd be a vet one day. Caring for other people's dogs turned out to be the next best thing. I'm pet first aid certified, and we sanitize our home daily to keep everyone clean and healthy. Come by for a meet and greet, check out the yard, and let your pup sniff around. We boarded our dog for the first time with Kevin and were very pleased. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to handle our dog as well as multiple dogs simultaneously in his home. He took care to make sure our dog felt comfortable and even administered medication to her. We will definitely use him again.
Kevin is incredibly knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. Ayra looked like she had a great time and we received frequent updates with photos and videos. He was also extremely accommodating when our flight was delayed, leading to a late night collection. Great property with large fenced play area. Highly recommended.
Kevin took the time prior to sitting for us to meet with Brandy & I. I must say he was & still is the most organized & detailed of anyone else, so far as gathering all possible info about our dog, her care & gathering special needs or concerns before actually sitting. It was the perfect decision to let Brandy meet with him & see how they connected before using his services. By the time we actually booked about three weeks later, she was so excited to see him again. She ran straight towards him as if they were old friends. It was easy to leave her with him & feel relaxed & confident that she was in good hands. Got regular updates. Kevin clearly is a natural with dogs. He is extremely professional, yet personable, caring & friendly. When we picked her up she was beside herself silly & happy, running with him to meet us. There is absolutely no doubt that Brandy will be hanging with Kevin again. He is the best.
I left my dog with Kevin for a few days and everything went great. I highly recommend Kevin to watch your dog. The fenced in yard is a plus. I will ask Kevin to watch my dog in the future.
Kevin took care of Cooper over the holiday break and was amazing. He sent us updates throughout the break and really seemed to care for Cooper and the other dog under his watch. I highly recommend Kevin and look forward to booking him again!
Kevin is a fantastic caretaker. He has a great dog run in his backyard that I love because my dog hates walking on the icy salted sidewalks in the winter. He provides a wonderful home with exceptional care and excellent communication. I’d definitely use his services again and recommend him to anyone.

Schedule
We do this full time, so someone's always home with your dog. We're in Springfield, right next to Summit and Short Hills, so drop off is quick and easy. Short notice is totally fine. If a work trip comes up or you decide to head down the shore for the weekend, just message us and we'll let you know right away if we have room. We'll keep your dog on the same feeding and med schedule they have at home.

Our home opens onto a large, fully fenced and attached quarter-acre yard, so playtime is always secure. Inside, we've added custom gates so bigger and smaller dogs can have their own space, and older pups can get some peace and quiet. We are pet first aid and Fear Free Certified®, and we sanitize our home daily to keep everyone healthy. Our own dog is a shy little Sheltie we adopted from a past client, and living with her has made us especially good with nervous pups. We're also comfortable with seniors, puppies, and dogs who need medication. You'll get photo updates every day, and we'd love to have you over for a meet and greet so your pup can sniff around the yard first.
Pets
A typical day
The dogs go out to the yard around 8AM, 12PM, 5PM, and 10:30PM for about 30 minutes each time, and we're always out there with them. They run around, play, and make friends, then come in for water and usually a good nap. The rest of the day is toys, couch time, and hanging out with us. Shy or older dogs can go out on their own if the group is too much. Most pups go home happy and tired :)
