Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Have a medium sized fenced-in backyard and I own 2 dogs. All pet-sitting is insured thru this site. I charge $5 extra per day for puppies. Unlike other sitters, I pet sit in my own home so no worries about strangers in your home. If owner uses a crate at home it must be used in host's home too. Rather not take large dogs, my fence will not prevent fence jumpers if they are high energy and some separation problems. Know this from experience. Will accept one dog per sitting but must be small or med size such as a Cocker. Will not walk any dogs that pull. Please provide YOUR OWN FOOD AND WATER BOWLS. Provide any bedding or toys your dog is used to. Have five years experience with injected medication and eye medication if necessary. No client dogs allowed on my bed overnight. **Since the lowest point of my fence is only 40 in, a height that may be breached by a high energy dog, I may end a Meet & Greet soon if I have any reservations about security. Owners have said they have had no problems with this, but I have an opposite viewpoint. If the dog is senior, I would be less worried.

Schedule
I require a 5 day advance notice before a Meet & Greet appointment. Also, same notice for repeat clients. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO STAYS LONGER THAN 10 DAYS. Would appreciate it if owner would provide the dog's food bowl. I'm retired so I have a lot of free time to watch dogs. I will accept dogs as early as 8:00 am and pickup no later than 9:00 pm.

A typical day
Interaction with my two Cocker Spaniels. I will be home most of the time to minimize separation anxiety. Guest dog may play with a squeeze toy my dogs play with. Will give treats to guest dog if provided by owner.
