We've dog sat a number of friends and other families dogs, both old and young. We know how worrying it can be to find a reputable and reliable dog sitter, we hope we'd gain your trust and have your dog return to play with ours. I work in Laindon, from 07:00-15:15 & WFH on Fridays. Natalies hours vary as she is self employed.. Our Son Noah is at senior school and gets home at 15:15. Usually it’s no more than 4-5 Hrs until someone is home during a typical work day. Natalie’s start times can vary & she doesn’t work on Mondays or Wednesdays. As mentioned, I’m home on Fridays.

We have a secure fenced garden which has a bolted gate. We have a porch which has a doorway to the hallway which can be closed before the front door is opened (No unwanted escapes!) We live near a large playing field where we often exercise our dogs, or farmers fields which have public bridleways. Theres also secluded walks away from roads nearby.

First and foremost, your dog MUST be OK around children! Our son is very good with our dogs but will often have his face very close to your dogs face, we know the temperement of families and friends dogs but we dont know your dog (Yet) and would like some assurances that he & us can do this without concern. We need to know if your dog is anxious or doesn't like affection as our Cocker can sometimes come across a bit intimidating initially (She's too inquisitive and not considerate that others may be wary!) but she is very friendly, although a little vocal on occasions.

Dogs get let out in the garden first thing in the morning to have a stretch & go to the toilet. Around 8 they have breakfast, a little sit down for a cuppa and some doggy fuss time on the Sofa or a play. After breakfast they have a walk round the village. We'd have an early evening/late afternoon walk over the field near our house where they'd maybe socialise off lead with other dogs or walk around the village on leads. Home for more cuddles on the sofa. Frequent toilet breaks throughout the day in the garden and a final one before bed time. We often take our dogs to our Sons Rugby training/games on Sunday mornings which often tends to be very social for dogs.

My Wife & I have had dogs since 2004 (Ollie, a Springer spaniel) & my wife Natalie grew up with dogs in her family. We have a teenage Son who also loves dogs. Your dog must be OK with both children & other dogs. We’d insist on introducing our dogs with yours before committing to boarding. We adopted our a second dog in 2015 (Bella, a Cocker) after her previous family could no longer care for her. First dog sadly passed away in 2017 and Bella was a single dog until we got Wallie (Another Springer, yes we must be mad!) in 2019 just before Lockdown. We may be able to accommodate two dogs, subject to meeting them, their nature/breed etc…
Avis

Thanks to Kevin and Natalie for looking after Bertie over the weekend. He was very well cared for and came back very happy. I received pictures and updates throughout his stay which was really lovely. Will definitely be booking again.

Kevin and his family took such wonderful care of my dog Bailey, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met, it was clear how kind and attentive they are about animals. They kept me updated, made sure Bailey was comfortable, and treated him like part of their own family. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kevin and his family to anyone

Kevin's communication was fantastic with very prompt responses and frequent updates. Poppy looked like she had a great time and really looked like she was at home! I wouldn't hesitate to ask Kevin and family to look after her again 👍

Kevin and his family took wonderful care of Merlin for a week. We were impressed with their professionalism even before confirming the booking – we had a meet-and-greet followed by a trial, which gave us great peace of mind. During Merlin’s stay, Kevin kept us updated with messages and pictures, which really reassured us while we were away. Merlin felt completely at home and got along beautifully with Kevin’s dogs. We can’t recommend Kevin highly enough – truly outstanding care!
