A typical day

Here are some fun and engaging activities I’d love to do with the pets I watch, depending on their energy level, personality, and needs: For Dogs: Interactive Play: Fetch, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Walks & Exploring: Neighborhood walks, park visits, or sniffari adventures (let them explore new scents). Training & Tricks: Reinforce basic commands or teach fun tricks like “spin,” “paw,” or “play dead.” Cuddle & Bonding Time: Quiet moments for pets who enjoy relaxation or gentle petting. Hide-and-Seek: Hide treats or toys around the house/yard for a fun scavenger hunt. For Cats: Playtime: Feather wands, laser pointers, or crinkle balls to encourage their natural hunting instincts. Puzzle Feeders: Use food-dispensing toys to make mealtime more engaging. Grooming Sessions: Gentle brushing or nail trimming for pets who enjoy it. Cozy Spaces: Create a warm, quiet spot for them to relax and observe their surroundings. For Other Pets (e.g., Sugar Gliders, Birds, etc.): Enrichment Activities: Foraging toys, climbing structures, or safe exploration time. Gentle Interaction: Hand-feeding or supervised playtime to build trust. I always tailor activities to the pet’s preferences and energy level, ensuring they have a fun, safe, and enriching experience while you’re away! Let me know if you’d like me to include specific activities for your pet. 😊

Years of Caring for Pets!

Pet care experience

Providing reliable, compassionate care for your animal companions is my primary focus. I hold a college degree and have spent the past years dedicated to the well-being of diverse animals, ranging from dogs and cats to exotic pets. My approach centers on your pet's comfort and happiness, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and consistent routine that mimics their home life. I prioritize strict adherence to dietary needs and maintain vigilant observation for any changes in health. When managing high-energy breeds or challenging pets, I rely on active play and responsible decision-making. I remain calm during emergencies, communicating immediately with you to ensure your peace of mind. I am punctual, responsible, and deeply empathetic toward every animal I meet. I truly cherish witnessing the unique quirks of each pet, and I look forward to welcoming your furry, feathered, or scaled friend into my care.

I worked with Keturah while taking care of my fuzzy babies, (four of them) and she worked with me to make sure each one was getting the right foods/meds and the due/don’t for each. Great working with her an amazing personality would highly recommend.

Keturah was a phenomenal hire, taking lovely care of my cat while I was out of town for a week on vacation. She followed all the instructions left and my kitty now has a new friend. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants some great pet care.

While I was gone on vacation, Keturah helped me so much with my dog, Odie. Literally took so much stress off my shoulders. Odie is a 15y.o. chihuahua so needs a lot of care and patience. I'm glad I got Keturah because she bonded so well with him from the start. Definitely would ask her to care for my sweet Odie again!! ❤️❤️
