A little about me: I am a Rhode Island native, (literally!) and have a Bachelors degree in International Relations and Global Politics from the American University of Rome. I also completed my Masters degree in Costa Rica! Pura Vida! I have lived in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany and Australia, but regardless of where I am, I am a dog lover! I have personally cared for elderly dogs, chaotic puppies and the 'body guard' type, and my care will allow your pet/ Bestfriend to be relaxed while vacationing. I have been dogsitting/ caring for the past 5 years now. I live on a lake, with a fenced in yard and try to for walks/ hikes once every day. My availability is somewhat flexible depending on your needs. Depending on the needs of your furry friend and your own, I am more than willing to doggysit and provide your pet with any amenities and attention needed! Cuddles are a must, or atleast a walk.. Or a nice drive! *As of July 2019, I will no longer be doing dog-boarding. Housesitting, and drop in visits are still bookable with me.*

At a clients home I always use a leash and harnesses when available to ensure safety. I take photos and request notes from owners to ensure balance from dog to overall environment.

Fantastic person . Great with our dogs! Tolerant of our finicky door so next time we will have a new lock at the dogs suggestion.
I’d leave zero stars if that was an option. I Do Not recommend Keshia, in fact Rover should drop her as a sitter. So thankful we have outdoor security cameras. Keshia arrived at our home with a strange man I’d never met, didn’t know she was bringing and wasn’t part of our agreement. When I questioned who he was, she said he was her husband whom she had to call for help because my older dog wouldn’t come up the stairs, which was a lie because he arrived in the same car with Keshia. They then left my house and came back with takeout food. Then left again and Keshia came back alone. Fed our dogs dinner and let them outside at 7:30pm. For some bizarre reason Keshia left our house at 3:15am and didn’t return until 9:30am. At 9am since I had no idea where Keshia was I had a friend stop by to let my dogs out because they’d been inside for almost 14 hours, and no fault of their own ended up going to the bathroom on the floor. Before she finally returned I texted her asking how my dogs behaved overnight. She texted me that the dogs had been great and were “chill”, which was another lie because she wasn’t even back at our house yet. This prompted me to contact Rover’s Emergency number to make a formal complaint about Keshia and have her removed from our property. This was a terrible experience for my husband and I, we almost had to cut our vacation short and return home but friends and family came together to help take care of our dogs. I will never use Rover again, cannot trust the reviews on here to be legitimate. I have the security surveillance saved and am happy to share with anyone.

Keshia was a great sitter! Our dogs were so happy about the fun time they had. We are happy to have located such a caring person to take care of our two dogs! We reviewed pictures which was reassuring. High recommend Keisha!

Schedule
Currently working part time! Able to offer half day care and breaks! I am available overnight, and early mornings. Over the holidays and weekends my availability changes.
