Hello my name is Kerstin! I’m just getting back on here to my Rover account because it’s time to find new clients! I had my clients for almost a decade now, and my regular clients have been loosing their animals due to old age and sickness, so now I’m looking for new clients to add to my list of regulars! I am originally a professional dog/cat walker/groomer/and sitter. I got into doing this before I made a Rover acct, through my mobile dog grooming clientele, and fell in love with it working with all types of animals especially dogs and cats. I've been professionally working with dogs/cats for a little over 9 years now, and I am absolutely in love with it. I have been certified to work hands on with the expertise in care, grooming, bathing, walking, and house sitting, and also what to do in an emergency situations. I am certified in CPR for dogs and cats and I will take care of your animals as if they were my own. I have three dogs at my dad's house that I take care of on a regular basis, and i love taking care and spending time with them. Im very accommodating to animals that have special need attentions. I have lots of experiences dealing with sick animals, and also administering shots in their legs. ( I’m a phlebotomist, that’s why the Vet trusted me to do injections) I was raised to always take care and leave everything I touch better than I found it. My schedule is open most days, so let me know when you need me and we will figure something out. I am flexible and i will love your pet when you are not there!

Kerstin treats your pup just like family. We always see happy pictures of our dog and we know he is well taken care of when we are away!
Kerstin is great with my dog, she got right down on the floor with him when she met him and let him snuggle her, one of his favorite things. My dog is sometimes reactive on leash with other dogs, always a source of concern for me when other people walk him but Kerstin knew exactly how to handle that if it were to happen. I’d definitely recommend her.
Kerstin took very good care of our golden, Charlie, and they took right to each other. I would definitely call her again.
Kerstin is amazing! I’ve had the pleasure to not only work personally with her, but also experience first hand her love for animals. She does a wonderful job making sure her dogs are well cared for!! She’s dedicated, experienced and loving when it comes to the pups!! There’s no one else I’d rather recommend to watch your babies then her!!

Schedule
So I’m currently on disability, so taking care of animals more than just my own would be easy for me, as I’ve been taking care of other peoples animals for almost a decade now, and that’s all I pretty much do, I take pride in taking care of my own animals, Bentley because he’s such a high maintenance pet, he is a rescue sugar glider, and since he doesn’t have a mate, I’m his mate. So my life revolves truly around taking care of animals really.

I don’t believe in boarding other peoples animals, for one taking an animal out of their normal environment is very stressful on the animal and can cause severe health conditions like a seizure, or even just ruining the entire inside of the house from nerves, if the dog:cat gets too stressed out. When the owner leaves, the pet gets high anxiety because it thinks you left them, so one of my rules to abide by is to not change the dogs’ or cats’ routine off much from the owners routine if you were home. That way the animal(s) don’t get so stressed out
Pets
A typical day
We will go on walks and play fetch and I love to chase them around while the dog has zoomies. Also if there’s a cat or a long hair/double coated dog I will brush them at least once a day. Also I will sleep with the animals if permitted, anything that the owner does with the dog, needs to be imitated by me so the dogs routine is as least disrupted as possible.
