I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born, but I had my first puppy when I was 12. I learned even more about handling dogs because we took her to dog shows. Thanks to our good relationship with the breeder whom we went to shows with, when I was 17 I got to foster a puppy from the breeder for months until she was old enough to be adopted. Most recently, a different breeder let me temporarily care for a 16 week old puppy which had not been given proper vet care, so I got a corrected diagnosis from the vet and treated her Giardia infection. In my freshman year of college, I also walked the large dog that belonged to my dormmate/friend who lived across the hall from me. I’ve cared for numerous senior pets including those who need medication. I currently have one kitten and one senior cat that I take care of at home. I’ve had the senior cat since I was 8 years old and she means the world to me ❤️ I will give your cats the same level of attention and care that I give to my own!

I currently do not offer boarding services in my home. In your home, I will follow all your instructions and keep the pet company. I love to play tug of war and fetch with dogs. I like every cat I’ve ever met and will wriggle their toys, strings, and lasers as long as they’re entertained. I love to play fetch with cats too, and give them lots of snuggles if they like. If kitty asks for more space, I will always respect that. A lot of kitties seem to like playing with my long hair so there’s always an option, haha!

Kersten went above and beyond for watching our two cats while we were gone for the holidays! Even if they weren’t feeling friendly she was amazing and just hung out so they weren’t as lonely. Amazing communication and lovely pictures - would recommend in a heartbeat!

Schedule
(Edit: Schedule is more open temporarily for the holiday season again, through mid January) I recently graduated and just started as a full time software engineer! However, I love to see my past kitty clients so I still have been able to take some requests from previous clients, as fits in my schedule. I get to work from home many days and have flexibility in my hours, so I might be able to do morning visits, but evening visits are a better fit for my preferred workflow and daily meetings.
