Your dog’s home from home
About Me I’ve had dogs and cats pretty much all my life and currently share my home with Wesley, my six year old Westiepoo. I work from home, so dogs staying with me have plenty of company throughout the day. I only look after one owner’s dog at a time, which means they can properly settle in and become part of the household while they’re here. Wesley is friendly and used to having other dogs come to stay, and we have a secure garden as well as plenty of lovely places nearby for walks. I know it can be nerve wracking leaving your dog with someone new, so I’m always arrange a meet beforehand. I also send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away so you can see how they’re getting on.

Kerry was brilliant looking after our dog who gets nervous being away from home. She kept us updated and our dog adores her and her own dog too. We would definitely recommend.
Kerry was brilliant with Luna. She was really welcoming and her and Wes made Luna feel completely at home. I got updates throughout the stay of Luna relaxing which made me feel at ease. Kerry was really good at communicating and we’ve already booked Luna in for another stay in a couple of weeks. Would recommend to anyone.
Buzz thoroughly enjoyed his stay with Kerry and Wesley, thanks so much for having him on short notice. We will look forward to seeing you again in the New Year for his next stay!
Noris second stay with Kerry and Wes. She dragged me to the front door and couldn’t wait to see them again. I have total peace of mind leaving her with Kerry - I had lovely updates throughout her stay and she looked like she was having the best time. I’ll have zero hesitation leaving Nori with Kerry again, and I’m sure Nori can’t wait!
Buzz seemed to have a great time being well looked after by Kerry and Wesley. Lots of updates and photos and you could see he was enjoying every minute. Think he might be pining for a return ASAP. Thanks very much Kerry will look forward to booking Buzz again with you soon!
Kerry looked after our dog for a couple of days whilst we were at a family wedding. This was our first time using her through Rover so we met her beforehand and he was immediately comfortable with her and her dog Wesley. He had a great time and enjoyed the twice daily walks. Kerry was great and kept us up to date with updates and photos. Would definitely recommend her and the app.

Schedule
I work from home Monday to Friday, so I’m around for most of the day and can easily fit walks, garden breaks and plenty of attention around my work. Wesley usually has two or three walks a day, and any dog staying with us simply joins our normal routine. At weekends we’re often out for longer walks and adventures, so there’s usually something fun planned!

I have a secure, fully enclosed garden which dogs can access throughout the day, and they’re welcome to make themselves at home just as Wesley does. I only look after dogs from one household at a time, so it stays calm and relaxed and I can give them plenty of individual attention. I’m also fully insured for home boarding, for that extra peace of mind. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements and any little habits or quirks I need to know about.

A typical day
Most days start with a good morning walk, followed by breakfast and some downtime while I work from home. We’ll usually head out again later in the day, with garden breaks and plenty of attention in between. We’re lucky to have lots of lovely walks nearby, and when time allows we like to venture a little further to places such as Killerton, Ashclyst Forest, Woodbury Common or the beach. In the evenings things are generally pretty relaxed, with dinner, a final walk and then plenty of sofa time. I’m very happy to adapt our routine to suit your dog and what they’re used to at home.

- Before your dog comes to stay, I’d love to know a little about their personality and normal routine, including what they enjoy, their feeding and walking routine and anything they’re not so keen on. As Wesley will be sharing his home with them, it’s important that they’re comfortable around other dogs. Dogs staying with me also need to be happy sleeping independently downstairs overnight, as I don’t have dogs in the bedroom, and they must be comfortable being left at home for a couple of hours occasionally if I need to pop out. Please also let me know about any medical needs, separation anxiety or little quirks that might help me decide whether they’ll be a good fit for our home. A meet beforehand is always welcome so everyone can say hello and make sure they’re happy together.
