Loving, family home for your dog
Hi, I'm Kerry! I share my home with my family, and a Cocker Spaniel called Bran. I've had dogs for over 10 years and genuinely love their company. Since bringing Bran home, I've spent a lot of time learning about the needs of active and busy breeds. I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation and, I enjoy incorporating training, enrichment and sniffy walks into my dog's day. I'm home throughout the day so your dog would have lots of company and I can offer flexible walks and drop in visits that suit your dogs schedule. Most importantly, I'll care for your dog as I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while they're with me. Your dog would be treated like part of our family.

Kerry looked after Lily really well. Lily had fun with Bran! We received some great photos of them having fun. We had a meet and greet beforehand which was good for Lily to meet Kerry and Bran before her stay.
Maisie had a great time, Kerry kept me updated with a couple of photos. Kerry is very easy to communicate with. Her house is very nice and Maisie was very at home. I will definitely be contacting Kerry in the future.
Kerry did a wonderful job looking after my elderly dog Max at very short notice. Max had a lovely time playing with Kerry's own dog and is a bit sad he's back home with just me!
I have known Kerry since we were children, and I can honestly say she is one of the kindest, most caring, and attentive people I know. She has had pets throughout her entire life and has always treated them with love, patience, and respect. Kerry is incredibly responsible and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. She pays close attention to their individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Kerry has looked after our dog for many years while we took holidays or just for odd days when we were not around. Pip (our dog) loved staying with her and her family and was always treated as one of them, so much so that when we returned she was always happy to see us but could have quite happily stayed longer! Kerry has a great understanding of dogs and has spent hours training and playing with her own dog and you can tell because he is such a happy, well behaved dog who loves other dogs. The family home is a safe and loving environment for dogs and the back garden is completely secure. I would not hesitate to recommend Kerry to look after any dog. She is a calm, reliable person who really understands the needs of dogs and treats them with kindness and so much care.
I've trusted Kerry to look after my dog on numerous occasions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. You can see she genuinely loves dogs and treats them as if they were her own. She is reliable, caring and attentive and my dog always seems happy; plus she sends pictures of their walks together and the playful moments. She's always happy to give updates abouts. Her own dog is friendly and well cared for, and it's clear they have a good understanding of dog behaviour and positive reinforcement training. I always feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care and know he'll be safe, happy and well looked after.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and will be home throughout most of the day. My husband works from home, so if I pop out, there will still be someone around to give your dog plenty of attention and care. I am able to offer two walks a day and your dog would never be left alone for long periods of time. I can offer walks and drop ins througout the week. If your dog needs a lunchtime walk, some company while you're out and a toilet break, I'm happy to help!

I have a secure garden with plenty of space so your dog can safely enjoy outdoor time. For any dogs staying with us it's important they're comfortable with family life and happy to spend time with my dog. Like most spaniels, he's sociable and enjoys play when meeting new dogs, but settles well afterwards. That said, I also have enough space to provide separate, quiet time. Meet and greets are always welcome to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. For drop ins and walks, I'll fit in with your dog's usual routine as much as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages along the way.

A typical day
Most days involve a couple of walks and plenty of time outdoors. We're lucky enough to have lots of lovely local walks nearby. There are plenty of quiet paths or open fields I can take your dog to, dependent on what they enjoy most. Back home, your dog will find a cosy and safe place to relax. I want dogs to feel safe, settled and at home here, with plenty of company and attention.

- I'd love to hear all about your dog before we meet. Knowing their routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any special requirements helps me make sure they're happy and comfortable. Please let me know how they are around other dogs, children and anything else that helps them feel settled. For any dogs staying in my home, they'll need to be happy sharing their space with both, so it's important we're confident it's a good fit for everyone.
