I pet sit full time so I am able to care for pets based on their individual schedules. I do walk dogs weekly but can work around that schedule.

I ask questions about each pet and follow those instructions. For example; are the pets bolters, counter surfers, are any rooms off limits,do they have specific walking and eating times, etc, to ensure the pets are comfortable and safe.

I will watch any breed of dog and any size. I would appreciate knowing any medications or supplements they are taking. Do they get along with other animals, chase animals they see on walks, how are they on walks? Any information that will help me to ensure the dogs are safe and happy.

Depending on a pets needs, I will take them for walks, car rides, cuddle with them. If an animal is nervous at first I often read to them so they can hear a calm voice. I also love playing hide and seek with dogs. Cats don't usually find me or make me wait long periods before they do.

I am a dog lover who loves the company of dogs. Size doesn't matter. I love them all. Purebreds and mixed breeds, droolers, the playful sort, or the shy quiet types are all the same to me. They each have a place in our hearts and bring smiles to our faces. I will treat your beloved family member as my own and will pamper them and shower each one with love and lots of belly rubs and ear scratching. I have completed a veterinary assistant training course where I learned basic animal care. I have been volunteering at a dog and cat rescue for 5 years. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. I had dogs as a kid and became a dog walker/sitter as an adult. When I was a kid I would study my dogs books and knew most of the breeds. The dogs were very happy to be at home with Kerrie! Kerrie paid close attention to the pets feeding and medicine needs and picked up after them. We look forward to next time 😀
Kerrie is a blessing to take care of your pups. She takes extra special care of making sure that each pup gets the attention that they need. She took extra care and love with my german shepherd who apparently didn't like that I was gone. She is so patient and her attention to the pups needs are amazing. She does an amazing job of keeping me up to date on the pups day and she takes pictures of them as well. Kerrie is wonderful and she made my trip away from the pups easier so that I didn't have to worry about their care. Thank you so much Kerrie! You are the best and I know the pups loved having you take care of them.
This was our first experience ever leaving Cooper & Rocco overnight with a pet sitter. We were worried like “new parents” at the thought of leaving them with someone new. Kerrie was fantastic with them and relieved our concerns. She was so thorough and spent plenty of time getting to know them and familiarizing herself with them and our home and preferences prior to her first overnight stay. We appreciated her thoroughness and look forward to her caring for them again.
Kerrie is amazing! She is the only one we we trust with our two big boys. Two Newfoundlands is a chore in and of itself, but we also have other pets that she tends to when we go on vacation. One of our Newfies is an old dude and needs special care and medication and I know when we leave, he is in great hands! Thanks again Kerrie for taking such good care of our boys ❤️
