Availability
I am available mid day during the week and occaisionally weekends. We also have a small working farm and have chores. I do compete occaisionally on weekends hense limited availability, but I will always keep my schedule updated in advance. If you need to schedule further out than 2 weeks please contact me. I maybe available short notice for walks. My schedule of availablity could change depending on demand.

I can come to the home and walk or just potty pets in their own environment. I can provide care lined out by the owner. This includes medications, maybe bandage changes depending on the dog. I do not offer in home care as of this time.

Needing to know any excercise limitation or intolerances will keep pets safe and happy. Emergency phone numbers, medications or other needs for the pet being cared for is very important. Does the dog being cared for like other dogs, are they scared of traffic, people issues. Anything that would make a pet feel uncomfortable. Any information is important.
A typical day
We can play games, throw a ball, frisbee or teach a hide and seek game with toys or treats for mental stimulation. We can teach new behaviors like watch me or even sit and down. We like to go and walk at James Crowe Park. POPS is another fun place to walk around and snifffor the dogs. My own dogs love walking on trails anywhere.

I have been involved with dogs most of my life. But the last 25 yrs I have been involved in training and trialing in agility, rally, herding and conformation. I have worked in boarding kennels ( GoldGrove Monroe NC and Harlan Ridge in CT)and as a dog training assistant. I was also a whelper helper at the kennel who breed Dobermans. I also breed Papillons and Border Collies. I belong to the Papillon Club of the Carolinas and the Border Collie Society of America. Formerly a member of Town and Country Dog Training Club Bloomington Illinois and Cornbelt Kennel Club Bloomington Illinois. I raise my puppies with Puppy Culture and Avidog. I am a member of GoodDog. I have been feeding raw to my pets for 22 yrs and can help pet owners transition to feeding raw or help enhance their dog's kibble. I also am skilled at using herbal remedies for some issues. I can bathe and groom some breeds. I am also a level 2 Healing Touch for Animals practioner ( all animals including horses and other livestock), trained to use essential oils for animals. I have a BS in Agriculture from Central Missouri State University, majoring in Animal Science and Horticulture. I recently retired from my gardening business of 10 yrs in Charlotte, NC. We moved to Ellenboro after buying a farm here. We raise Chickens, Quail, and soon Rabbits and Sheep.
