Most compassionate animal lover!
I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love.

Kerri is so kind and helped me and my family feel at ease leaving our dog in her care. She also sent photos of how our pup was doing and that meant a lot. It was our first time using Rover and Kerri made it all the better for us to leave our pup in her care. I also loved that she offered to do a meet and greet to ensure we felt comfortable and our pup as well. We will definitely be using her again for any future trips we are unable to bring our pup.
Hazy had a great time at Kerri. She will definitely go back again.

Kerri took great care of our boy. He loved being at her house. We even booked a second stay right away, and he was so excited to see her. He was almost sad to see us back I'm sure.

Schedule
I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice.

I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.
A typical day
The activities that I will incorporate into our daily activities will all depend on the overall health and needs of your dog. However, if your dog is in great shape and healthy, we will definitely play games, go outside in my fenced in yard, and with your permission, go to the park or for walks. If a pet is on the older side or has special needs, I will cater to his or her needs in order to make the pet feel very comfortable and pleasant. I treat people’s pets as if they are their own children.
