I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medication, playtime, crate routines, and any special needs. I respect each home as if it were my own and make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their familiar environment. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets and home are in good hands while they’re away.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as I can about their normal routine, personality, and needs so I can keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. It’s important for me to know their feeding schedule, potty routine, walk preferences, medications, allergies, favorite toys, fears or triggers, behavior around other animals or people, and any house rules you’d like me to follow. I also like to know what helps them feel calm, especially if they get anxious while you’re away. For everyone’s comfort and peace of mind, I like to schedule a complimentary meet and greet before booking. This gives both parties a chance to meet, go over your pet’s routine, answer any questions, and make sure it’s a good fit for you, your pet, and me. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can care for your pet exactly the way you would.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I base activities around their normal routine, personality, energy level, and what their owner is comfortable with. Some dogs love walks, fetch, playtime, or backyard zoomies, while others are happiest with a calm stroll, snuggles, and companionship. With owner approval, I’m also happy to take dogs for car rides or approved outings to dog-friendly places so they can enjoy a little adventure while you’re away. I’ll always follow your schedule, rules, and safety guidelines first.

I am a certified pet sitter, dog walker, and obedience trainer, so I bring more than just a love for animals — I bring knowledge, patience, and confidence when caring for pets with different needs and personalities. I also have a lot of experience with senior dogs and special needs dogs, including pets who may need extra patience, medication, mobility support, or a calmer routine. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind.

Kerri took great care of Penny while I was out of the country! She was very communicative about how things were going and treated her like her own dog! She even let Penny sleep with her and boiled her chicken and rice when she was having stomach issues!
Kerri is top notch and by far one of the best pet sitters I've ever used. She took care of my babies and love them like they were her own. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and I hope to have the chance to hire her again!
Kerri is such a fabulous dog sitter. My husband and I are skeptical when it comes to people we don't know watch our puppy child. When we first met Kerri, she was so thorough in her application process as well as other questions that she needs to know about our Spalding. When we dropped him off, she asked if there were anything she can do to help correct his negative behaviors, which there were since he was about 8 months when he first saw her. When we came back, she showed us some tricks to help with his behaviors. Kerri is so genuine and is so caring. She is really our first choice when we need someone to watch our puppy child.
