I am a life long dog lover who is also a full time worker. With work and rental agreements, I do not feel I am able to own my own dog at this time. However, I grew up with yellow labs (we had four at one time) and very strongly miss the presence of a dog in my life. I have come to rover to look for casual dog/house sitting opportunities to add some puppy love. Let me know if I would be a good fit with your pawed friend :) I am based in Hopkins, MN. My Rover radius is based on my workplace to minimize travel times during the week.

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer to stay at the pet’s home because it’s where they are most comfortable and where their things are. I am adaptable to any environment and have experience in letting pets into backyards, needing to take on walks for potty breaks, and watching for wild animals. If necessary to watch at my home, it is an apartment with lots of dogs, so any pet would have to be able to be within a short distance to other animals in the hall. I never allow pets I’m watching to closely interact in case of issues.

Kenzie did an amazing job with my tiny teacup poodle! Since she’s too small to go outside in the winter, Kenzie handled her potty needs with care and kept her comfortable indoors. She even took her to the park with friends one weekend, and my pup came home happy and socialized. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter!
Kenzie was fantastic with my dog Charlie! He’s a mixed breed who adores peanut butter but doesn’t get along well with other dogs. Kenzie managed his quirks perfectly—keeping him happy, safe, and spoiled with his favorite treats. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in her care!
Kenzie is amazing! She won over my Shih Tzu who usually doesn’t like people, and she gave my snuggly King Cavalier mix all the love he craves. Both dogs were so well cared for—I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work full time (M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM), and must be in the office 4 days per week for at least 4 hours. Otherwise I am flexible to work wherever there is a strong internet connection.
