Your dogs home away from home

Hi! I’m Kenzie, and I provide a calm, structured, and loving home environment for dogs who are used to being part of a family. 🐾 I have a friendly, well-socialized boxer who loves having other dogs around and is great at reading different energy levels—he’ll play when they want to play and relax when they need space. We keep a peaceful, supervised home so every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have a toddler in the home, so I’m very intentional about creating a safe and respectful environment for both dogs and children. All interactions are closely supervised, and I only accept dogs that are gentle and comfortable around kids. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy a balance of: • Playtime and socialization • Relaxation and quiet time • Outdoor time (weather permitting) • Lots of attention and care I keep routines consistent to help dogs feel at ease while you’re away, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions, feeding schedules, or preferences you have. What you can expect: • Frequent updates, photos, and communication • A clean, safe, and calm home environment • Thoughtful introductions with my dog • Attentive, hands-on care (I am home often and very involved) I know how important it is to find someone you truly trust to care for your dog while you’re away—because they’re not just pets, they’re family. My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re on a little vacation here: comfortable, cared for, and treated like part of the family in a safe, loving environment. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and have no history of aggression for the safety of everyone in the home.

Grateful to have found a new sitter near home. Kenzie was great with my dog as she adjusted to a new place and she was comfortable with Kenzie and had fun with the other dogs by the end of the week.

Kenzie is awesome. She really cares about the love, safety and fun for our pet. She had our 6 month old Lab that is full of lots of energy and she was so good with him. He had a great time at Kenzie's home and loved her and the family so much. This was our first time meeting Kenzie and she made us feel so loved from the minute we met her. She is a true pet lover, professional and very special. We are very thankful for the opportunity for our dog. She sent us photos and updates throughout our dogs stay. Simply the best...

Kenzie and her family were fantastic. My senior boxer pup had a great time there. Kenzie made me feel very comfortable about leaving by pup there. We did a meet and great to make sure everyone got along. Kenzie communicated well and sent pictures daily of my old relaxing and enjoying the other dogs company. I would highly recommend Kenzie to others and we will definitely go back. Thank you Kenzie for taking great care of Harley.

Kenzie was awesome! Unfortunately, my dog was in heat and ended up having some behavioral issues with the other dogs staying at the house and had to leave early. Kenzie was very communicative, understanding and nice throughout the whole process even when things ended up different than we were expecting. Would recommend her to others!

Schedule

I work from home on Mondays and am home with my daughter throughout the rest of the week, so your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision, and care. Our days are calm, structured, and include a couple of walks each day (morning & evening) along with time to relax and settle. I’m very hands-on and present, and I aim to keep your dog’s routine as consistent and comfortable as possible while they’re with us.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide a safe, clean, and structured home environment where dogs are always supervised. I have a friendly, well-socialized boxer who is used to being around other dogs, and I always do slow, intentional introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I have a secure yard for outdoor time, and I can crate dogs if needed based on your preference. Because I have a toddler in the home, I only accept dogs that are gentle and comfortable around children. My priority is making sure every dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

Pets

A typical day

We start our mornings early around 6am, followed by breakfast and outdoor potty time in the backyard. After everyone is settled, we head out for a morning walk around 9am to get some fresh air and movement. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy a balance of playtime, relaxation, and supervised time inside and outside. Because I’m home with my daughter during the week, I’m very present and hands-on, making sure all dogs are comfortable, safe, and getting plenty of attention. We typically include another walk or outdoor time later in the day depending on the dog’s needs and energy level. Evenings are calm and relaxed, with dinner, wind-down time, and one last potty break before bed. I keep a structured but flexible routine so your dog feels at home and well cared for while you’re away.

To make sure your dog has the best and safest stay, I like to learn a few important details ahead of time. Please let me know about your dog’s temperament, energy level, and how they do around other dogs and young children. Because I have a toddler in the home, I only accept dogs that are gentle, social, and have no history of aggression. I also ask about feeding routines, potty habits, sleeping arrangements, and any training (crate trained, leash trained, etc.). If your dog has any anxiety, special needs, or behaviors I should be aware of (such as barking, chewing, or marking), please let me know so I can prepare and care for them properly. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every dog, so clear communication ahead of time is very important to me.
