I live on a wooded 12 acres far from the main road. My property is unfenced so my large dog wears a Halo GPS collar when she is outside. I have a doggy door that exits outside into a small dog pen. I will gladly follow your preferences for leashing and outdoor time with your pets. I love all animals and will treat yours like my own.

Let me know if your pets are not safe to be around chickens. I have chickens but can keep them safely penned if need be. Also please let me know if your pet has special needs or behaviors or if they are not friendly with cats, other dogs or children. I'll do my best to accommodate so that everyone is safe and has a wonderful time.
A typical day
I live on 12 wooded acres with lots to explore and smell! Your dog can enjoy supervised walks around my property as much as they'd like. There's plenty of room to throw a ball or toy if they like. I'm also willing to take them on outings to the park, trails, mountains or lake if you approve. I have a doggy swimming pool and air conditioning for hot summer days. Indoors, we can snuggle on couches and do doggy puzzles.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and ranch with horses, cows, dogs and cats where I developed a love for all animals. I rescued my first dog on my own in 2010 and spent 11 fantastic years with him until he passed from cancer. I have experience administering pet medication and caring for animals with disabilities and illnesses.

Kenzie helped me out alot by taking great care of Steaky while I was visiting Mesa verde. Did not realize the park gets so hot and Kenzie responded to my last minute request. Steaky had a great time!
My dogs enjoyed their time with Kenzie! They have lots of room to roam and this was a perfect location while we visited Mesa Verde.
Kenzie was absolutely amazing! She was able to take care of my dog a couple extra nights while I was figuring out new flight arrangements to get back. She was extremely flexible, understanding, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog! Thank you, again, Kenzie for all your help!
We were nervous to find someone to watch our dog to go hiking, as he has never been left anywhere before. However I was so relieved to find Kenzie! She was flexible with working with us, communicative, sent photo updates the whole time we were gone, and provided Archie with a comfortable and friendly place to stay! If we were ever in the area again and in need of someone to help with Archie, Kenzie would be the first person we would ask!
