Loving Care for Every Creature
Hi, I’m Kenya :) Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for my grandparents chickens and sheep. I also raised a loving & energetic Wheaton Terrier, who lived to a happy old age, I am comfortable providing the care senior dogs need. I adopted and raised rescued small animals.. guinea pigs and rats have my heart. I am very familiar with the handling, cage cleaning, and environment enrichment needed in their lives for them to thrive! These days I share my home with a sweet cat, which means I’m very tuned in to the little quirks and routines that make cats feel secure and loved. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog needing a gentle walk, a cuddly cat, or small critters, I treat them all with the same love and care I’d want for my own.

Belle has had a few days with Kenya so far and she has loved it, all of the pictures show her happy as can be. On a logistical note, Kenya has been fantastic with responding and with short notice requests. She always has a thorough overview of their day for me at the end of the day. Overall I’m just happy when my pup is happy at the end of the day and she definitely is after hanging out with Kenya and her kiddo!
Kenya was really great with communication and I felt at ease knowing my cat was in her care. She was very gentle and knew how to approach and handle my rescue cat who can be a bit feisty and unpredictable. She was also able to accommodate a last minute booking for me. I would book her services again and would highly recommend her to others as well!

Kenya was wonderful with my cat, they bonded instantly--which was surprising because my kitty is a bit skittish to begin with! Kenya has a calm and confident energy that can instantly gain the trust of an animal (as well as their owner) I've known her well over two years now, she's responsible, communicative and is the best "aunt" my "daughter" could have! I would definitely have her sit for us any time, and I think my cat would agree! :)

I run my own business and mostly work from home, with 1-2 days a week spent in a local business. This gives me a lot of flexibility to build pet care into my day, whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or having extra company while I’m home.
