I am very experienced in the animal care field. I have seven years of professional animal care experience, three years of volunteer animal care experience, and twelve years of personal animal care experience. I specialize in the care of dogs, cats, and other friendly pets. I gained this experience through working and volunteering at large scale shelters, full service dog daycare and boarding facilities, as well as working on multiple farms. I have also had my own pets and cared for friends' pets my whole life. I am Fear Free certified, have education in infectious disease through Vetfolio and have experience with administering first aid and medications of all kinds. I love all kinds of animals and can not wait to meet yours!

Kennie made it so easy to be away from my sweet Nellie! They were thoughtful, attentive, and communicative. Kennie sent me fantastic updates with details I wouldn’t think to ask for (on her pupils, breathing, ears, tail, etc) which showed how much attention they were paying to my sweet girl. Even for a few night stay, Nellie was so relaxed I got some really great photos and videos of her being playful. Would highly recommend Kennie and will absolutely book with them again!

I’ve had Kenny for a week. She’s amazing . I couldn’t ask for a better drop in sitter to be honest. With the commitment, level of care PLUS the time spent I can’t imagine having hired anyone else. Moving forward she will be my go to. I intend to keep her for weeks. In the hospital having a baby and complications since I can’t come home and she made accommodations to meet me; tend to my home and my cat. Very professional. Personal with the cat. Brought his confidence way up. On time, communication is perfect and documentation for visits is very reassuring for me and my daughter. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Thank you Kenna!!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
At home I have a medium sized dog and a senior cat who welcome all guests with tail wags and purs! I have a large apartment with a perfect layout to allow pets to have their own space when necessary or mingle with the resident animals. Very flexible and welcoming environment. ~Please note, potty breaks and walks will require the use of stairs, and will be on leash only. I frequently take my own and guest dogs to the park as a substitute, no extra charge~
Pets
A typical day
I will take dogs on walks to parks, around their neighborhood, or even to public dog parks, depending on temperament and preference. Enrichment items and brain games are a wonderful way of engaging with furry friends during their stay!
