Hi there! I’m Kennia 🐾 I’ve always been an animal lover and can’t imagine life without dogs. Last year, I experienced one of the hardest losses of my life when I said goodbye to my best friend of 15 years. Anyone who has loved a dog knows they aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. While I’ll always miss him, my home is full of joy again thanks to my sweet Bernedoodle, Pluto. He’s a friendly, playful pup who loves making new dog friends and helps visiting dogs feel right at home❤️ I live in Oakland with my partner, and we both absolutely love animals. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do, it’s a huge part of my life. I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, affection, and exercise throughout the day. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also volunteered with animal rescues and shelters over the years and have been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends for as long as I can remember. I believe in gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. Our pup loved Kennia. She was very responsive and kept us updated with daily pictures and videos. Our boy had a great time and got along well with Pluto. We will definitely be booking with Kennia again.
Kennia was responsive, communicative, and prompt throughout the entire boarding experience. She took great care of Max, and it was clear he was well looked after while I was away. I appreciated the updates and would definitely rebook her to watch Max again. Highly recommend!
Sloopy is usually hesitant when meeting new people and dogs. Kennia quickly put Sloopy at ease and created a safe and interesting environment for her. Sloopy was well cared for and seemed to enjoy her stay. I highly recommend Kennia as a dog sitter!

Schedule
Working from home allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. My schedule is very flexible, so your pup will rarely be left alone and will have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and exercise. We enjoy daily walks around the neighborhood and trips to nearby parks. You can also expect lots of photo updates because I love sharing cute moments with pet parents! I’m available on both weekdays and weekends for boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits.

I live in a pet-friendly home in Oakland with my partner and our sweet Bernedoodle, Pluto. Pluto is very friendly with other dogs and loves having new friends to play with. We have a fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to relax, explore, and feel comfortable. Pets are treated like family in our home and are welcome. I can also crate your dog if that is part of their routine. Safety is always my top priority, and I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions to make sure their dog feels comfortable, secure, and loved during their stay.

A typical day
I truly love spending time with animals, so most of my day revolves around making sure they are happy, engaged, and having fun. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, our days may include walks, backyard playtime, games, enrichment activities, cuddle sessions, and plenty of attention. I always try to tailor the day to each dog’s needs. Whether your pup loves to play, explore, nap on the couch, or simply be near people, they’ll receive lots of love and companionship while they’re with me. Pluto is also happy to provide a friendly playmate for dogs who enjoy socializing.
