This family of four is highly motivated, very caring, playful, high-energy people who love animals of all types! For boarding, all of us have lots of experience with dogs and cats, and mom and dad are also well-experienced with parrots and rodents. Our large, 4,000+ square foot backyard is accessible to your pets at all times and is fully fenced. Mom and dad are available for walks. Mom is available for housesitting, caring for your pet(s) where they already feel safe and comfortable. We live 20 minutes from LAX and are available for airport park-and-drive as well.

Kenneth and his whole family took amazing care of our active 2-year old, Pony. He invited us over in advance for a quick meet up to see the house and yard and for a chance for his wife and sons to interact with our dog - though a lot of sitters don't require this, I definitely appreciate the extra time and attention to make sure the arrangement is good for both parties! From the looks of it, Pony had a marvelous two days being part of the family. Kenneth and Manya sent videos of Ponyboy trying to catch baseballs and getting walks through the neighborhood.

Schedule
Dogs have access to our 4,000 sq foot backyard throughout the day, and we reserve evenings and weekends for connecting with our pet guests. Dad works full-time, Mom works from home at times, and sons go to school/camp.

Safety, trust & environment
In home: we have a sizeable backyard that is fully fenced in. Our single family home is located on a safe block in a nice neighborhood. We provide balls and toys to play with, as well as two active children who love playing with and cuddling animals, and are very attentive to your pet's needs! We like to take our visitors on excursions to parks and on lots of walks. We have no pets of our own (except 1 immortal Betta fish), so your pet(s) will get so much fun and attention! We frequently hear from pet parents that their pets are happy upon pickup, and are excited to come back. We consider that the best possible review!
A typical day
We live on a wonderful block in South LA about 20 minutes from LAX. (Ask us about a park-and-drive option to your airport gate!) There are lots of opportunities for walks around our neighborhood. In addition, our backyard provides unlimited play and sniff opportunities with balls, toys, and even a trampoline! (Most pets do not actually like the trampoline, but an occasional dog will take to it.) There are plenty of birds and neighborhood cats and delivery people to bark at. Beyond that, they will get snuggles, play and, love from our two kids, a lot of love and play from dad, and a lot of nurturing and attentive care from mom. We make sure to follow your feeding regimen, and pay attention to pack dynamics that develop around food, toys, and attention when hosting dogs from multiple families. Let us know if your dog is not friendly with other dogs and we are able to accommodate and host your dog solo.
