Availability
My schedule is very flexible right now since I am home from college for the summer, so my availability is pretty wide open. I am available most days and can easily adjust to different pet care schedules, whether that’s daily visits, walks, feeding times, or overnight stays. The only times I am unavailable are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30–9:00 due to soccer practice. Outside of that, I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to caring for pets and making sure they get the attention and care they need.

Caring for animals has always been a big part of my everyday life. At home, I help take care of my four dogs and my cat by feeding them, walking them, bathing them, cleaning up after them, administering medication when needed, and making sure they always feel loved and comfortable. Having multiple pets has taught me how to manage different personalities, energy levels, and routines while still giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. I also have experience caring for other people’s pets in their homes through pet sitting for family and friends. I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether it’s feeding schedules, playtime, walks, medication, or simply giving them company and affection, I make sure every pet feels safe, cared for, and happy while their owners are away

I believe it’s very important to learn about each pet’s specific needs ahead of time so I can give them the best care possible. I like to know things such as their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, medications, allergies, behavior around other animals or people, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. Every pet has a different personality, and taking the time to understand those details helps me build trust with them and make their time away from their owners as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
A typical day
When caring for pets, I love keeping them active, entertained, and happy with fun activities based on their personality and energy level. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and spending time outside letting them burn off energy and explore. I also love giving them lots of attention, cuddles, and playtime so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. For calmer pets, I enjoy relaxing with them, brushing them, or simply keeping them company. With cats, I enjoy interactive play using toys, laser pointers, and strings, along with giving them affection and creating a calm environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Since every pet is different, I always try to match activities to what they enjoy most so they stay happy, engaged, and stress-free.

Pet care experience
I have hands-on experience caring for multiple dogs of different breeds and personalities, including my four dogs at home — two dachshunds, a yorkie, and a schnauzer. Over the years, I’ve been responsible for many aspects of their daily care, from feeding and walking to bathing, grooming, and administering medication when needed. Caring for several dogs at once has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to recognize each dog’s unique needs and behavior. I genuinely love animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also have experience helping family and friends with pet sitting, which has helped me become confident handling dogs in different environments and routines.
