I'm a hairstylist currently building up my clientele, which means my schedule is still pretty flexible throughout the day. Because of that, I have plenty of time between appointments to take on something I love, spending time with dogs! That's why applying to Rover is such a great fit for me. It allows me to fill those open parts of my day by helping pet owners who need someone reliable to stop by and let their pups outside, give them some attention, and make sure they're happy while their owners are away. It's a perfect balance between growing my salon business and doing something rewarding with my extra time.

I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. In my home, I make sure pets have a comfortable place to rest, fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of playtime and cuddles. Safety is my top priority, so l keep a close eye on them and make sure the environment is pet-friendly. When I'm in a client's home, I always respect their routines and space. I stick to the pet's usual schedule so they feel comfortable, and I give regular updates and photos to the owner. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe and cared for just like they would with their own family there.

I keep account for every dogs needs and personality. One my dogs is low energy and calm loves to follow you around the house. The other one is high energy because she is younger and loves to be in on the action too. They both enjoy playing with each other a lot and they get a lot so well and keep each other company!
A typical day
I love to do all sorts of things with my dogs when I can see them throughout the day. We try to on a little morning walk and get back and have their first meal of the day and play and hangout while I get ready and I see them over lunch. In the evening is when they get to get all their energy out and have their second meal, by playing with toys and each other.

Having two dogs, ages nine and five, has truly shaped my life and deepened my love for animals. Each of them has their own unique personality-one calm and wise with age, the other full of energy and curiosity-and together they keep me constantly on my toes. Whether it's going for walks, playing fetch, or just sharing quiet moments at home, they bring endless joy, laughter, and comfort to my days. Caring for them has taught me patience, responsibility, and the pure happiness that comes from unconditional love. They are both well trained and know and love so any tricks. Throughout the years I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of friends, family and neighbors. Doing all sorts of thing to walking, feeding, taking medication, or even just being at their home. Life with them can be busy, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

Kenna would be an amazing fit for Rover because she’s genuinely great with dogs and treats every like her own. She’s taken my dog, Daisy, on plenty of walks/watch while I’m out of town.
