I have over 9 years of hands on experience caring for my own three dogs, which has given me a deep understanding of pet care, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and general health maintenance. Over the years, I’ve managed everything from daily walks and training routines to vet visits and special diets. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also dog sat for friends, looking after dogs of various breeds and sizes. My experience has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and responsive to each dog's individual needs, making sure that they feel safe, loved, and well cared for at all times.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their established routines to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while you're away. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any specific needs. Daily walks are done at the times your pets are used to, and I always try to make sure they get the right amount of exercise and playtime based on their energy levels and preferences. I also make sure to spend quality time with your pets whether that means playing fetch, or simply being present to keep them company. I understand how important consistency is with my own dogs, so I stick closely to your instructions, including any medication schedules, crate routines, or expectations. My goal is to make your pets feel as happy and secure as they do when you're home.

Kenna has been house and pet sitting for me since she was in high school, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. I have three dogs—each with their own quirks, special diets, and one who needs daily medication—and they all absolutely love her. While I am away, Kenna provides daily updates, including photos and little notes about how everyone is doing—which gives me such peace of mind. Beyond caring for the dogs, Kenna also waters my porch plants and garden during the summer, makes sure my packages are safely stored in the garage, and somehow leaves my home even cleaner than when I left it. Her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals give me complete peace of mind whenever I’m out of town. I always like to stock the fridge with a few of her favorite snacks and drinks—just a small gesture of thanks for the incredible care she provides. The only downside is that she moved away for college, and finding someone who comes close to the level of trust and care Kenna provides has been nearly impossible. She will always be my first call when she’s home visiting!

As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule, which allows me to fully dedicate time and attention to pet care. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate your pet's specific routines, whether that includes early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening feedings. I’m able to provide consistent care throughout the day. I prioritize keeping your pets active, engaged, and comforted, and I’m available for both short visits and long stays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to giving each pet the time, energy, and affection they deserve.
