A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated while their owners are away. Depending on your pet’s personality and preferences, I’ll adjust our time together with fun and engaging activities. This can include going on walks around the neighborhood or to local parks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, or simply having a good cuddle session and some belly rubs. For more energetic pups, I enjoy playing interactive games to help them burn off energy in a fun way. For older or more laid-back dogs, I’m happy to keep them company with gentle play, pets, and plenty of calm companionship. My goal is to make sure your pet not only feels safe and cared for, but also has a great time while you're away!

I have over 9 years of hands on experience caring for my own three dogs, which has given me a deep understanding of pet care, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and general health maintenance. Over the years, I’ve managed everything from daily walks and training routines to vet visits and special diets. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also dog sat for friends, looking after dogs of various breeds and sizes. My experience has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and responsive to each dog's individual needs, making sure that they feel safe, loved, and well cared for at all times.

Kenna has been house and pet sitting for me since she was in high school, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. I have three dogs—each with their own quirks, special diets, and one who needs daily medication—and they all absolutely love her. While I am away, Kenna provides daily updates, including photos and little notes about how everyone is doing—which gives me such peace of mind. Beyond caring for the dogs, Kenna also waters my porch plants and garden during the summer, makes sure my packages are safely stored in the garage, and somehow leaves my home even cleaner than when I left it. Her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals give me complete peace of mind whenever I’m out of town. I always like to stock the fridge with a few of her favorite snacks and drinks—just a small gesture of thanks for the incredible care she provides. The only downside is that she moved away for college, and finding someone who comes close to the level of trust and care Kenna provides has been nearly impossible. She will always be my first call when she’s home visiting!
