✨🛡️For pet parents who haven’t booked with us before: to ensure a comfortable fit, as well as to ensure the safety of yourself, your pets, and ourselves, we require a meet and greet prior to confirming our first booking together. 🛡️✨ 🐕 Service Descriptions 🐩 🐕🦺 Dog walks: We take your dog on a lovely stroll around your neighborhood, taking into account any special needs they may have, and of course clean up any poopy stops they make. To respect your neighbors, we don’t allow them to potty on private residences or property. 🐾 🔥NOTE 🔥 🐾 During hot summer months, please take into consideration time of day when submitting walk requests. The pavement can get scorching hot at certain times and cause injury to your dog’s paws. 🥎 Drop-in: We drop in for 30 min (or longer if you wish) to ensure they have access to adequate food, clean water, potty breaks, and a safe environment. We provide playtime and pets, whatever activity they enjoy, or any specific activity the pet parent requests from us. We observe their physical and mental behavior to make sure they’re content and happy. If we notice anything concerning, we’ll alert the pet parent immediately. 🧔🏼♂️👩🏻 About Us: Hello! My name is Kenn and I’m a veteran and cancer survivor who was raised with animals since childhood. I grew up on a reptile farm and learned how to take care of multiple animals at once. My wife Regina and I have had dogs and cats as family members for over 30 years and both have experience in providing care for them in all life stages, as well as varying levels of energy from docile to high energy. We additionally have experience in caring for dogs and cats with medical or special needs. We do have some experience with mildly reactive dogs, but are not taking any requests for dogs that have history of violence or aggression. We love to get involved with animal rescue and have experience fostering for rescues. We are more than happy to help provide the best for your pet and overall peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
During our drop ins or walks, we take the care of animals very seriously. We understand the importance of safety and situational awareness and will work hard to do what’s best in every scenario. We try our best to stick to their normal routines to reduce the stress they may feel while you’re away, while providing them comfort and attention to make them feel at ease. We uphold strict values in respecting your home and make sure your residence is safe and secure after completing our drop in or walk. We are Cat & Dog First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. We know how to perform CPR for dogs and cats, and know general first aid and emergency care. Prior to starting our services with you, we will take note of your pet’s personal veterinarian and any special instructions. We also have contact information on hand for our local emergency veterinarians (including UCD, Sage, and SPEC). In any case of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. Aside from the Rover Guarantee, we carry our own liability insurance through PetCare Insurance. We want to make sure you have peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe and loving hands.

Kenn is amazing!!! He is so loving and caring to our sweet girls, they had a vacation while we were away too!! 🥰🐾 It was our first time being away from our girls since we moved and we didn’t spend a day worrying. All the pics and videos are such a joy to watch, he captures their personalities and precious moments. Kenn goes above and beyond to ensure the girls needs were met from loving pets, play, meals, medication and potty breaks. He even cared for our plants. We can’t thank him enough for his generosity and time, his care is priceless. 🥰🐾🙏

Calendar and availability
Schedule
We operate as a team duo most of the time. For days that Regina is at her other job, it will be me (Kenn) primarily attending to your furbabies, since I have a flexible schedule. Rover doesn’t indicate hour-specific availability on the calendar, so please reach out so we can discuss specifics. We will try our best to accommodate your request.

- During the initial meet and greet, we’ll go over your pet’s information with you in order to properly care for them. We’ll note the following: -physical limitations -special needs -allergies -medications -dietary restrictions or special meal prep -behavioral issues -and any other information you’d like us to know (ie. special command list, other instructions) We strive to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy always.
