Hi! My name is Kenji and I have an adorable 6 year old dashschund named Winston. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and spending time with pets is something that genuinely brings me joy. Over the past 10 years, I've become the go-to dog sitter for my friends and family because they know I'll care for their pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I would my own. I've looked after dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities—from playful puppies who love to explore to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I also have experience caring for reactive dogs and understand the importance of staying calm, recognizing their triggers, respecting their boundaries, and following their routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether we're going for a walk, playing fetch, sticking to their daily routine, or just relaxing together, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll always follow your care instructions, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a wagging tail, earning a shy dog's trust, or knowing an owner can travel with complete peace of mind. Safety, trust & environment
For drop-in visits and walks, I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own environment. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I take the time to follow each owner's instructions closely and provide care that fits their normal schedule. During walks, I prioritize safety while making sure dogs get the exercise, enrichment, and attention they need. I’m comfortable adjusting the pace and style of walks based on each dog's energy level, age, and temperament, including being patient with dogs who may be nervous or reactive. For drop-in visits, I provide more than just the basics—I’ll make sure pets have fresh water, meals if needed, bathroom breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat their space with the same respect I would my own. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain their pet’s routine, and make sure both the pet and home are left safe and comfortable.

Kenji is the best! I trust him 100% to care for my dogs. Both of my dogs are picky when it comes to people (and dogs), but they were able to bond with Kenji immediately! He's very compassionate and patient, which is a must for a pet caregiver. He also has experience with dogs that like to get into things that they're not suppose to, so we trust him fully! Our dogs also love cuddling with humans and Kenji will make time to ensure they feel very loved when we're not around.

Schedule
I work remotely with a flexible schedule and have minimal meetings throughout the day, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m typically available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and keeping pets company. I enjoy building pet care into my daily routine, whether that means taking a dog out for a walk, providing enrichment and play, following their normal schedule, or simply spending quality time with them. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to be attentive to pets’ needs and provide regular updates so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. My flexible schedule also allows me to be consistent and dependable with each pet’s routine, which I know is especially important for dogs who thrive on structure and familiarity.
