I have a lifelong love for dogs and hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, energy levels, and medical needs. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my Border Collie, Lacy, who we rescued and lovingly cared for despite being blind and diabetic. Through Lacy, I gained extensive experience with special-needs dogs, including administering medication, maintaining strict feeding schedules, monitoring health changes, and providing patient, compassionate care to help her live a happy, comfortable life. We also adopted Baloo, a German Shepherd/Lab mix with endless energy and a big personality. Caring for Baloo taught me how to manage high-energy dogs through structured exercise, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement. Whether a dog needs calm, gentle support or active play and long walks, I adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment while their owners are away.

With experience caring for blind dogs, diabetic dogs, and high-energy breeds, I understand the importance of consistency, close supervision, and following care instructions exactly as provided. I am attentive to each pet’s unique needs, including medication schedules, dietary requirements, mobility limitations, and behavioral cues. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space and always ensure dogs are safely leashed during walks and closely monitored during playtime. I believe trust is built through clear communication, reliability, and genuine care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own family member. Owners can feel confident knowing their pets are in capable, compassionate hands while they’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I have open availability, which allows me to be fully present and flexible to meet each pet’s specific needs. I’m able to accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication administration, and any special care requirements without rushing or scheduling conflicts. Because my schedule is open, I can provide consistent attention, plenty of companionship, and reliable care throughout the day.
