Dog boarding has always been more than just a job to me — it’s been a part of my heart since 2015. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to care for so many amazing dogs and families. I’ve watched puppies grow up, senior dogs slow down, and I’ve experienced the full journey of loving dogs through every stage of life. I’ve also shared in the heartbreak that comes when a client tells me their beloved dog has passed. Those moments always stayed with me. What I didn’t fully understand then was how deeply I would one day relate. My two babies, Milo and Marley, were such a huge part of my life and this journey. They were by my side through so many years of boarding, helping me welcome other dogs into my home, bringing comfort, joy, and life into every stay. Losing them has changed me in ways I’m still learning to process. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about them or miss them. After losing both of them, I found myself stuck in between grief and purpose — unsure if I wanted to continue boarding or if my heart could handle having dogs around without my own babies here. But as time has gone on, I’ve realized something: being around dogs is healing for me. It brings me comfort, joy, and a sense of peace I didn’t know I needed. The first dog I boarded after Marley passed was Koda. I cried, I laughed, I played, I walked, and I truly enjoyed every second of having him around. It reminded me how special dogs are and how much their love means. What some people may see as little everyday dog things — the running, the walking, the energy, the need for attention — are now the very things I cherish most. Continuing this journey of dog boarding has become therapeutic for me. It gives me the opportunity to love on other dogs, to experience that unconditional love again, and to honor the memory of Milo and Marley in a way that feels meaningful. I truly believe they are still with me in spirit, helping guide me through this next chapter. In honor of Milo and Marley, I will continue to open my heart and my home to the dogs I care for. This work means more to me now than ever before. Caring for your pets is not just something I do — it’s something I deeply appreciate, value, and love. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I am available most days and nights. I left the dogs outside multiple times daily for bathroom breaks, playtime, and fresh air. Dogs are always supervised when outside to ensure their safety. I’m home during most of the week, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, monitoring, and care throughout the day.

A typical day
Pets in my care are continuously monitored and treated as part of my family. They are fed according to the pet parent’s instructions, and medications are administered as directed. I make it a priority to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, so they feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you’re away. If you want it warmer, more detailed, or more checklist-style, just say the word 🐾
