Growing up on a farm has given me experience working with animals ranging from small to large. If you have a nonstandard pet (anything still within Rovers terms of service) , I am comfortable providing care. Growing up, I lived on a farm specializing in beef cattle, but we also owned horses, llamas, goats, geese, chickens, ducks, and our own personal pet dogs and cats. I’ve cared for animals my entire life! I also spent several years volunteering at a horse rescue, where i spent one day a week helping to care for over 50 rescue horses. The rescue specialized in offering trail rides and horse riding opportunities to the public in order to fund the rescue portion. My current personal pets include two cats and a large dog. Cats are my specialty and my current passions include caring for and rehoming stray cats in my neighborhood. In the evenings I'm usually hanging out with my pets at home, and engaging in my personal hobbies like knitting and reading. I work 9:00 am to 5:00 pm full time (Mon through Fri) so I am available for pet sitting primarily early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends. I personally have two cats and a dog, who are all fed twice a day. My cats enjoy daily playtime that incorporates chasing toys and earning treats, as well as daily snuggle sessions. My dog receives potty breaks every 4 hours when I’m at home, and walks when the weather allows. My dog is the biggest cuddle bug and receives plenty of attention throughout the evening and ends the day by jumping into bed with me.
