Pet care experience
Compassionate any-age pet companion
I have cared for cats, dogs, and houseplants for over 20 years, from kittens and puppies through geriatric cats and dogs with a variety of dietary and medication needs. I really enjoy building a caring, connected rapport with the animals that I care for, as I know their world is disrupted when their people aren't home. I have watched a dog who has seizures, I have managed multi-pet households where each pet is on a different diet, I can typically pill cats, and have, when needed, applied soft muzzles to dogs to then apply ear drops. I enjoy taking dogs out on walks that best meet their needs, age, and health, and engaging with pets through play, pets, or simply keeping them company.

Safety, trust & environment
I will work to arrange time to meet with you and your pet(s) before your departure, so they have a chance to get to know me as a safe and trusted person in their space. If any of your pets is particularly shy, I'm happy to set up a second session to increase familiarity. When it comes to getting along with your animals, I always appreciate insight from you on what works best. It is important to me to clearly understand the routines and requirements for your pets' care, so we'll write down all the requirements before your departure. I'm also happy to share daily updates while you're away. My top priority is making sure the pet sitting experience is comfortable and minimally disruptive for your pets, and clear and sustainable for both you and me - stress for any of us involved is not worth it for the pets!
Ratings and reviews
We are so happy we found Kendra! She was responsive and easy to communicate with when we had a sitter cancel last minute. She was thorough in getting details about our pups and home before her stay. We received updates daily on their play, eating, and time while we were away. On top of providing excellent care for our pups, our home was treated with equal attention. It was left in perfect condition upon only arrival home along with a handwritten note providing updates. We couldn’t be more thankful for Kendra and the care she took for Charlie and Myla.

Kendra is one of the most reliable ,trustworthy, caring people I know. I have known her since she was in third grade and not only is she a brilliant young lady she is also caring and loving with our animals. She dog sits and house sits for us and even noticed a limp in one of our two big dogs and took him to the vet for us and got him his medication as well. She coordinated with our vet and us and I felt confident in her ability to handle everything. She sent up video updates and loved our fur baby like we would have if we had been there. She follows all our instructions for regular meds and our dogs love her too! She also ia awesome with cats! If you need a dog sitter/house sitter and she is available you will be lucky to get her! Feel free to call me if you have any questions Angela Mitchell (602) 321-0878
Kendra has taken care of our two cats on multiple occasions. She is great interacting with them; they love her (even our skittish kitty)! She is able to give them pills and has excellent attention to details about what to give them when. A+ I would definitely recommend!!
I have known Kendra for more than 20 years, and when it comes to caring for our home and our dog, there is no one we trust more. Recently, my husband and I went on a cruise and needed someone to care for our three-year-old Bernedoodle, who requires medication twice daily. Kendra treated him as if he were her own. Because communication was limited during our trip, her daily text updates and photos provided tremendous peace of mind. She not only ensured his medication schedule was followed perfectly, but she also took him on walks and spent time working with him to learn a new trick. Her genuine love for animals is evident in everything she does. Kendra also stayed in our home while we were away, and when we returned, you could hardly tell anyone had been there. The mail was neatly organized, the house was spotless, and the counters were cleaner than when we left. 😊 Everything was exactly as we had hoped—and more. Beyond being a wonderful pet sitter, Kendra is one of the most intelligent, capable, and authentic people I know. She has always been a natural leader among her peers and has never been afraid to follow her own path. We have especially enjoyed watching her pursue her dream of building her own tiny house—literally with her own hands. Part of me hesitates to share how highly we think of Kendra because I fear she may become too busy for us! But she truly deserves every bit of praise. The peace of mind she gave us while we were away was invaluable, and we would recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking a trustworthy, responsible, and caring pet sitter.
My girls (cats: Chleo, 14yrs & Shiloh, 3yrs) ADORE Auntie Kendra like literally no other human outside of myself and my boyfriend! Even Shiloh, the shy one, who comes out for NO STRANGER will jump on Auntie's lap for love and cuddles! Kendra is a fantastic sitter and has been with us for years. Complicated, forever changing feeding instructions? She's got it. A new litter box routine every other visit as we try out new things? No problem. Meds? She's a pro. Most of all, Kendra takes the time to play and relax with my girls while I'm gone. With a very attached Senior cat and a very affectionate and playful youngster, I couldn't ask for a better fit. I trust Kendra completely and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
I’ve known Kendra for 13 years, and she is consistently reliable, communicative, and empathetic. She was a wonderful caregiver for my Miniature Aussie Cheznah, staying by her side as she grew from a mischievous whirlwind into a sweet senior. Kendra is a natural at intuiting an animal's personality and specific needs. She always provided the updates I needed to feel at ease, treating my girl like her own family. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment trusting Kendra with my animals or my property.

Schedule
I'm currently on a professional gap-year as I build my own tiny home and develop and launch my own independent consulting/contracting business. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to go on early or nighttime walks, to play with pets during the day, and keep them company. For overnight or house-sitting stays, I do need two larger breaks during the day, about 3-4 hours each, one in the mid-late morning, and one in the afternoon/evening to be home with my own pets, but my timing is flexible so I can still be available to meet most meal and bathroom break schedules.
