Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine.

Kendra was great with Jocko! She brought her golden along (she asked if it was ok first) and Jocko and Birdie seemed to have a great time together. She sent plenty of updates and was very personable. We highly recommend Kendra.
Kendra took great care of Rocky, he ate all of his food for her, and that never happens when I'm gone!

Schedule
I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends.

My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. I tailor my care for each individual; whether they enjoy multiple walks, adventures, or just want extra cuddles their happiness is my top priority.

A typical day
My girl loves to play fetch so that is always on the to do list if your pup is up to it! We also enjoy exploring the trails/walking paths in the area, and can’t forget the occasional pup cup!
