A typical day
I love to get the dogs out to enjoy the weather and to explore as much as possible, check out near by hikes or parks to play! I also love challenging them mentally with interactive games and activities I’ve learned from trainers I’ve seen and talked to.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my family and in my life ever since I was born, I’ve taken care of all sizes and breeds of dogs and haven’t come across a dog I didn’t LOVE! I’ve taken care of all of my dogs ever since I was able to do chores, walking, bathing, training, and caring after them. I’ve also cared for my family’s, friends, and neighbors dogs overnight for vacations and trips since I was 18!

IN MY OPINION THIS SITTERS BEST IS NOT RENDERING SERVICE AS A HOUSE SITTER BUT MAYBE A PET WALKER. IDK. I would be doing an INJUSTICE to further pet parents & pets if I did not leave my HONEST review. I tipped this sitter because she did a service for me. But as days further passed after my return, I realized that a tip was not FULLY deserved. At no time while I was away from my home was it EVER communicated to me by this sitter that my dog was barely eating or 1/2 eating his provided food. Specific instructions were given if the dog did not eat. The sitter was even left with optional wet & alternative homemade healthy foods/treats to entice him to eat. I left an extreme amount of extra food (over 12 homemade containers/cans & more) & only 1/2 of ONE optional container was used towards the end of the stay. I know that it was near the end of the stay because the ONE open homemade container was fairly fresh & was left in the refrigerator. During this stay, there was never any expressed concerns/questions from this sitter about my dog’s feedings/appetite, nor was I given any indication that he was not eating as instructed. NO SHOOTING STARS ABOUT HIS EATING!!! NOTHING!! In my opinion. she missed the cut 💯 % on that one - which is a biggie for me!! When I checked in with this sitter via the Rover app, I was told that everything was fine and the pet was doing well. She never telephoned or sent a message letting me know that “HEY THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM HERE BECAUSE HES NOT EATING MUCH AT ALL!” Due to being highly disappointed, disgusted and saddened, I was hesitant & reluctant to leave a candid review. But in all fairness, she was INCONSIDERATE to my pets overall well being (HEALTH). When it came to him eating & monitoring his feeding.she did just the BARE minimum. Upon my return to a vet visit. my dog had lost 4.0 pounds in 10 days. SMH😢 This sit was not worth jeopardizing my pets health. Also, I did not receive one rover card in 10 days. Otherwise, my dog appeared to get the other services rendered (walked, potty breaks & medications administered) & my house was in order. She was cordial however I would not recommend her for house sitting.

Kendra was easy to communicate with, responded promptly, gave my pet lots of love, and sent cute pictures. Highly recommend and I’ll use again!
