Dog Days Of Summer 🐾🦴🐶 woof!
Hi, my name is Kendra and I'm an animal lover! I have house sat pets for many friends/neighbors since I was 12 and thoroughly enjoy it. I have volunteered at Maxfund animal shelter for years as a dog walker multiple times a week so I have plenty of experience with a variety of different sizes of dogs as well as different energy levels! It is very important to me that pets are well taken care of as well as happy! I'm somewhat soft-spoken which makes even the most timid of dogs comfortable around me. **fully vaccinated but can wear a mask and/or social distance if needed! Curbside dropoff/pickup preferred!**

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible so I can adjust to any routine & I'm available most days/evenings 7 days a week! I'm a bit of a homebody so I love to hang out watching tv, working on my laptop or taking walks in nearby parks when it's not too hot to be outside which are all things made better with some cute animal company!

My significant other and I live together and he also works from home so he will be present during boarding stays, occasionally he will help out but for the most part not involved much besides providing lots of head pats! He doesn't accompany me during housesitting or any other in home services. I gladly accept crates and/or beds because it's important to me to create a place where each animal has their own space to feel comfortable! There are plenty of parks and walking spaces around my home so I can provide plenty of walks and potty breaks! In a clients home it depends on the needs of the pet but I generally plan on staying the night and spending a lot of time hanging out in home as it makes the pets feel comfortable and less anxious about their people being gone. I don't drive however my partner does and is always nearby in case of an emergency! I use a bike to get around, it has a basket and while I would never put a pet in without the owner's permission it will fit a small animal if you think your furry friend would like an adventure!
A typical day
Activities depend on the dog of course, but I'm pretty active so I can wear out that super energetic dog with playtime and long walks! I like to stay in the neighborhood because it's familiar and won't take the dog out if it's comfort zone. I also love watching tv with a couch companion, if they're allowed on the couch!
