I currently work full time but my schedule is flexible. I am able to spend time with the dogs in the morning before heading to work and spend plenty of time playing and taking walks after work! My fiancé works second shift so animals are usually home alone for no more than 4hrs at a time—we do crate dogs when we have to leave for their safety!

I have a fenced yard and comfortable sized home for the pets to play in. My two friendly dogs are good with other dogs but sometimes, as with people, personalities clash. This is no problem though as I am well-versed with slow intros, behaviors and if needed crate and rotating! We also live near a paved walking path for walks.

Information Kendra D. would like to know about your pet
To help us provide the best care, we would love to know any behavioral and medical concerns, emergency contact and/or protocol (i.e. what should we do if there’s an emergency and we cannot get ahold of you), your pet’s typical schedule, and any other info you can give us to best love on and care for your fur-kid.
A typical day
We have a large fenced area for fetch and playing with the other dogs, as well as a large open concept basement they can run around during those colder days. We live near a paved walking path for daily walks and have loads of mental stimulation games such as kongs, lick mats, and snuffle mats (at owners request)

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds since I was in middle school. My family owned an animal rescue that I was very involved with—daily animal care, training, walking, grooming, etc. I pursued a veterinary degree after high school but due to unforeseen circumstances I didn’t proceed past my Bachelors of Animal Science. Through this journey I’ve worked several years in various veterinary clinics so I have a basic knowledge of animal first aid. My partner, Brandon, also loves animals and is very involved with the care of our fur-babies. He loves ruff-housing with the doggos and taking them for walks!
Reviews

They did an excellent job with our reactive heeler Murphy. So intro and when I came back, he was hanging out happily with the rest of their pups! So impressed and happy that Murphy had fun!

Kendra was a blessing! Our boys can be challenging, but she was so patient with them. She worked with us to ensure we were comfortable leaving out of state on a trip. She also made sure to communicate check ins, and take pictures so we could see our babies. Thank you!

As always, Kendra was so accommodating. I reached out last minute about booking a stay for Fanny & she was prompt with responding and is always so flexible with pick up and drop off time.

Kendra is very easy to work with and does a great job taking care of our pets!
