Availability
I am available for active services through August 7 during the week. After August 7 I am available for services most weekends (Friday after work - 5 PM - though Sunday night). If I am house and pet -sitting, I will stay at your home overnight and take care of your pet actively during the day unless you choose otherwise.

Safety and comfort are my top concerns. I am a Private Pet Care Insurance-Secured sitter so you can feel confident booking with me. For new clients, I may ask for a pre-booking meet and greet to ensure we are a good fit. For boarding and daycare requests: Because I care for my own pet along with yours, I require proof of current vaccinations: Rabies, Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, and Adenovirus (Hepatitis) prior to booking. Whatever service you select, I will work with you to understand your and your pet's needs and tailor the experience. When I host your pet in my home you can expect a clean home and large, grassy, fenced yard. Your dog will be on leash outside the property unless you give permission to do otherwise in designated off-leash areas. Our dog sleeps part time in her kennel and part on our bed. Your dog is welcome to do the same. If I am in your home, you can expect me to leave it the same or better than you left it. I'll even water your plants if requested.

For services in my home, to protect your pet and mine, you will be required to provide proof of vaccinations prior to booking: Rabies, Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, and Adenovirus (Hepatitis) for any boarding or daycare bookings. As a courtesy, I'd love it if your pet also had flea and tick protection.
A typical day
We can create a plan together based on your and your pet's needs. Some activity options for your pet are: -Walks all over town or in your neighborhood -Hikes in the Boise Foothills (Fall, Winter & Spring only) -Visits to a dog park -A dip in the Boise River For boarding or daycare, it's a couple 20-40 minute excursions a day, fun games with toys, playing fetch in the yard, and naps when the mood strikes. I'm also committed to sending you pictures of your pet if desired.

I don't just make sure your dog has the basics. My goal is to make their experience epic in all the best ways. I've had dogs for over 40 years. I'm the annoying person who will stop strangers just to ask to pet their dog. I have experience with puppies through to seniors (they're my favorite), have no problem administering medications, and am proactive in meeting their needs. And if your dog is up for anything, then they can expect lots of exercise, snuggles, and new experiences.

I would highly recommend Kendall as a caregiver for your furbaby. She has watched my golden retriever Stanley and he had the best time with her and her dog, Vinyl. She will treat your pet like family. Stanley gets lots of walks, love, and companionship whenever he is with her. Kendall is a sweet, kind, honest person - your dog will be well cared for.
Kendall K knows and loves dogs. She has raised four Labrador Retrievers from pups to maturity. She can be seen often walking her dogs on-leash, running with them off-leash and rough housing with them in the fenced yard of her home. She has on occasion cared for my dogs while I am out of town; they are always excited to see her. Kendall is an active, purposeful and responsible adult and I trust her completly.
Kendall is a wonderful and responsible person and I would trust her anytime with my pets and home.
