Pets are family, and I know first-hand the importance of entrusting the right person to look after a pet when you’re away. I have happily been involved with cat care for pretty much my whole life. I was fortunate enough to care for my childhood cat, Jazz, for 19 years in addition to independently cat sitting, and loving on all my friends' (many) cats over the years. My experience with cat care has given me a solid understanding of how age and personality factor into the needs of a cat. Cats come with their own unique personalities and needs, and I'm happy to meet them where they are at! I have experience administering medication, monitoring chronic illnesses like arthritis and kidney disease, and redirecting unwanted behavior with play and positive reinforcement. It warms my heart when a cat loves pets and cuddles, but I'm very understanding and respectful of standoffish, defensive cats. I am familiar with how cats communicate distress, warning signs of aggression, and how they behave when they are ill or in pain. I have actually been commended several times for my ability to make friends with cats that have been labelled “unfriendly!” Should you choose to book with me, you can expect attentive, thorough, and loving care. Does your cat only eat their food if it's arranged in a star on a platter? Then, a dazzling star of food on a platter they will get! I also provide consistent updates and pictures, and I'm happy to be flexible around changing needs to ensure further peace-of-mind. In my care, you, your cat and your home will all be treated with the utmost care and respect. I look forward to working with you and your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I can only care for cats in my clients' homes. That said, you can expect your home to be respected and cared for as well as your cat! I will attend to any cleaning needed, which of course means taking care of any accidents that may happen. My goal is for you to be stress-free, so I'm also happy to take care of any household tasks that may need attention while you're gone - I can do things like water plants, make sure packages aren't left outside, or whatever else may come to mind. I loved the daily updates and honestly the updates just throughout the day! My Bojji girl also liked her and spent time with her which she doesn’t often do so I think that also speaks volumes!
Absolutely amazing. My kitty was in the best hands possible! Kendall sent so many updates and followed all my care instructions to a tee. They went above and beyond taking care of my fish, plants, apartment, and everything else! My Penny girl is a shy girl at first usually and she warmed up to Kendall faster than she did to my own sister. I cannot recommend Kendall enough!
Kendall is so incredible with pets! They're so respectful and a gem with cats. They cared for their own baby from kittenhood up to 19 years old and was such an incredible pet parent to Jazz especially as he got older and had health issues. They're so sweet with my two cats, and are really good at letting cats warm up on their own timeline and respecting their boundaries. You couldn't have a better cat sitter! They'll provide a cozy, playful, and warm energy for your babies while you're out of town! Can't recommend them enough!
Kendall is an amazing person and cat sitter! They have cat sat for me on multiple occasions. My cat loves them so much, and they always play with her, give her treats, cuddles, pets, and taught her and me that cat tv exists (which is her favorite thing). My cat is supper picky with food and how it is prepared, and Kendall got that down instantly, which is a huge win for my cat. Every time Kendal cat sits she get so exited when Kendal arrives. I only ever go with Kendall for cat sitting now, they are the number one cat sitter! I Highly recommend Kendall, 5 stars.

Schedule
I'm currently in the middle of a career transition from software engineering to tech education! I have spent the past 5 years working with folks of all ages in learning full stack development, and it's truly where my passion lies (besides with cats of course). That said, I recently just ended a freelance contract so my schedule is open and flexible again!
