I'm an artist, and I work in my Montrose studio about 20 hours a week. My hours are usually pretty flexible, and I usually only work 4 hour shifts, afternoons and evenings, with the exception being my Friday morning studio inventory/deep clean shift. I may make trips home or out to get groceries while on a stay, but in general I try to stay close by. Let me know how long your pets can be left alone, and I'll adjust my schedule from there!

Safety, trust & environment
I think house sitting is more comfortable for pets than boarding, because they're able to stay in an environment they know and love to reduce any stress of their owners going away. While pet sitting in your home, I'll provide all walks, meals, medications, and play time your pets need. I'll also bring in your mail, take out trash, water your plants, or whatever else you need!
Information Kendall C. would like to know about your pet
Any and all information you could provide for me regarding your pooch would be appreciated! I especially would like to know if your dog has any medical issues, what their favorite toys are, if they pull on the leash, and if they have any mouthy behavior or bite history.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks through the city, taking them to dog parks, or even just taking them for a lovely stroll around the block. Some dogs prefer lounging around the house, and that's okay too! I'll make sure they get plenty of love and belly rubs, play with their favorite toys, and cuddle up for hours. Generally, I like to keep up with your pets' routine as much as possible while you're away to reduce any stress. I'll ask you what time their walks, meals, and bedtime usually are and I'll follow that as much as possible. I'll send you updates and photos daily if you want, or update you every few days if you'd prefer!

Experienced, caring, and capable!
Pet care experience
Hi, there! I'm Kendall, and I offer dogwalking and overnight in home petsitting services. I've been a sitter with Rover since 2015 and have plenty of pet care experience prior. With me, you can be assured that your pets will have a safe, positive, and fun time. While you're away, I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of playful stimulation and exercise. If your pooch is more of a couch potato, that's fine too! I'll snuggle up with your pup and a good book, and make sure your time away from home is guilt- and worry-free. I've had animals all my life-- dogs, cats, small mammals, and reptiles. My family always said that I was a dog person living in a house full of cat people because I always begged for a puppy, but that's not strictly true: I love all animals! I started training dogs when I was ten years old when my parents relented and got me my first dog, a beagle pup named Allie. I use treat-based, positive reinforcement training with dogs, and I believe even old dogs can learn new tricks and good manners! My first dog sitting job was when I was thirteen, and I've been doing it ever since. I have experience with big dogs to small dogs, pitbulls to Chihuahuas, young dogs to old dogs, and I can administer medication in any form. I've fostered rescues from ACCT Philly (teaching them housetraining, crate training, and basic commands) and volunteered at other animal shelters both in Philly, and in Houston. In addition to dogs, I've cared for cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. The more the merrier! In short, animals and I get along great, and I believe that pet owners should be able to go on vacation, work away from home, or go to school full time without having to worry about how their animal friends are managing. Rest assured that I'll be there to keep your companions happy and healthy when you're away!

Kendall was absolutely fantastic. She house sitted for our American Akita while we were out of the country, which is no easy feat. American Akitas are very large dogs, and notoriously difficult to open up to people they don’t know. Within 10 minutes of meeting Kendall, all of my concerns were extinguished. She’s highly professional, great with communication, and has “the touch”, where my introverted girly was best friends with her the second they met. I undoubtedly will be hiring Kendall for any future needs, and any other owner with large dog breeds, especially shy ones, should as well.

She’s the best! My dog odie loves her definitely recommend
Kendall was awesome! Kept us updated with photos, and did a phenomenal job with our shy dog. Would absolutely re-book. Thanks Kendall!

Lily is always happy to see Kendall! Kendall is so sweet and attentive to our senior dog.
