Hi! My name is Kelsy. I am a traveling CT Technologist, I move frequently for work (typically every 6 months), which has made it difficult for me to have pets of my own in this season of life. Pet sitting and dog walking gives me the opportunity to spend time caring for other people's companions until I'm able to settle down with pets of my own. For the past seven years, I have helped care for my sister's cat, including feeding, companionship, and making sure all of her daily needs are met. I also have experience with dog walking, dog sitting, cat sitting, brushing and grooming, feeding, and providing lots of attention and affection. While I don't have formal training experience, I am comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining your pet's normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I began dog walking professionally about six months ago and since then I have cared for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. I'm very active and enjoy walking, hiking, and spending time at the beach or the mountains, so I'm happy to keep up with energetic dogs who love getting outside. I also have experience with senior pups who need shorter walks and extra cuddles. I pride myself on being reliable, responsible, and communicative. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I will always follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated with messages, photos, and check-ins so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I am starting a new contract in Santa Maria on June 15th. My schedule is completely open for the next two weeks, but once my contract begins, I will generally be available after 5:00 PM on weekdays, with additional availability depending on my schedule.
