Kelsie helped take care of our two boys, who can be quite a handful, and did a great job! River, our 7 month old malamute puppy, was very well exercised and in a good mood when we got back (quite a challenge to achieve), and our other dog, Nimbus also was in great shape. Would highly recommend!

In your home, I: Maintain your pet’s normal feeding, walking, and medication schedule Provide companionship, playtime, and calm presence (not just quick check-ins) Keep your pet’s environment clean, safe, and low-stress Watch for behavior or health changes and communicate proactively Send regular updates and photos so you feel connected while you’re away I’m attentive to details — from securing doors and gates to respecting house rules and routines. For overnight stays, I ensure pets have consistency, comfort, and reassurance throughout the day and night. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for — and for you to have total peace of mind knowing both your pet and your home are in trustworthy hands.

I love keeping pets mentally and physically engaged. Depending on the pet, that can include neighborhood walks, easy hikes, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, basic training refreshers, or just relaxed sniff walks. I’m very attentive to weather, age, and comfort, so activities are always safe and appropriate. Above all, I focus on making pets feel secure, loved, and at home while their humans are away.

- I like to know a pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications ahead of time. It’s also helpful to understand their personality, energy level, triggers (if any), and how they typically behave around other animals and people. I always ask about leash manners, recall, favorite activities, and comfort items. Knowing what makes a pet feel safe, happy, and relaxed helps me provide the best possible care and keep everything consistent while you’re away.
