I have my own dog, so pet care is already a big and consistent part of my daily life. My evenings especially revolve around him with walks, play, enrichment, and just making sure he’s happy and cared for in the way I describe in my profile. I also work a full time 8am–4pm job, but I prioritize pet care outside of those hours and make sure I have the time and energy to fully focus on the pets I’m caring for.

About Kelsi M.
Safety, trust & environment
I’ve primarily only house sat for family and friends, and I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep things low stress and familiar for them. I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding, walks, and daily habits so pets feel secure in their environment. Any adjustments I make are minimal and situational for example, changing walk timing or length depending on weather or the pet’s comfort. My goal is always to keep pets relaxed, comfortable, and in their normal rhythm while their owners are away.
Information Kelsi M. would like to know about your pet
It’s helpful for me to know about any history of aggression or reactivity, as well as allergies or dietary restrictions. I also like to know if a dog is comfortable being handled in sensitive areas such as paws, face, and tail, especially if grooming tasks like bathing or nail trims may be needed. Any information about their temperament, triggers, or comfort level helps me provide the safest and most stress free care possible.
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs are both mentally and physically engaged during their time with me. I use enrichment activities like scatter feeding games, where I toss food in a safe area and let them use their natural sniffing instincts to find it, which is great for mental stimulation. I also use lick mats after walks or activity time to help them relax and settle their brain in a calming, rewarding way.

Pet care experience
I’m all about keeping dogs happy, engaged, and well cared for not just watched. I love mixing in physical activity and mental enrichment like walks, play, training basics, and enrichment games so they’re fulfilled while you’re away. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and shelter dogs, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities. Anything from shy and anxious to high energy and playful. I’m patient, observant, and always adjust to what each dog needs. I also have hands on experience with basic grooming like bathing, and I’m continuing to build those skills with my own dog. Every dog I care for gets treated like my own, with a focus on safety, comfort, and making sure they feel genuinely happy and understood.
Reviews
Kelsi has always been very kind and gentle with all pets. She takes time to get to know them, and never rushes them if they need a little extra time. All my pets love her!
