Hello my name is Kelsey, and I have several years of dog sitting experience. I have personally rescued 15 dogs/puppies and found them all forever homes. I have a boxer, french bull dog & a hedgehog. I pet sit for all animals including dogs, cats, and exotics! Ive been a mom to a cat, flock of chickens, mini pig, several types of gerbils, and reptiles. I completely understand the differences of each animal and the commitment of having pets. Each pet I have watched has been a privilege, and I have grown from every experience. I am 100% pet lover, and will follow through with each owners requests. I am a dental hygienist and I love to stay active whether it is running, walking, or going to dog parks. Kelsey W. has cared for my two cats, one of whom has severe anxiety, and I truly could not ask for a better pet sitter. From the very beginning, she was patient, gentle, and incredibly attentive to their individual needs. She took the time to understand my anxious cat’s triggers and made sure he felt safe and comfortable, which gave me so much peace of mind. Kelsey provides safe, loving care and communicates consistently, which shows her professionalism and dedication to great customer service. She sends updates, is dependable, and genuinely treats my pets like her own. What makes her an awesome human being is her compassion — not just for animals, but for the pet parents who trust her. We’ve had some great, 5 star bookings with Kelsey, but this one was not. She was 3+ hours late getting to our dogs, and despite booking for house-sitting, spent very little time at the house with our dogs. She also brought another dog over to the house without permission (our dogs probably loved this, but we should be asked). We’re fairly flexible people and don’t think that whoever we book has to spend every second of their time at our house, BUT we do think it’s reasonable for a good chuck of time to be spent here given that it’s a house-sitting visit and Rover isn’t cheap. I typically wouldn’t be watching this so closely, but we had flown to Chicago, eaten lunch there, and noticed that we still didn’t have a ring notification that anyone had come to the house. Makes me wonder if I should’ve checked more during past visits. She did leave the house clean, and our dogs were okay- just spent much longer by themselves than we wanted/booked.
Kelsey stayed with our pups for a long weekend. She was very responsive-house and pups are great. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in the area.
Kelsey is great! It’s so nice to be able to go out of town and trust that our dogs are in good hands.
