I currently care for an English Bull Terrier that loves people more than anything else, and is not great with dogs. She has taught me the importance of watching body language, getting ample exercise, taking safe walks to avoid other dogs, and giving all the snuggles needed. I am very aware of dogs needs and keeping distance on leashes because of her. I have been around dogs all my life, from smell driven hound dogs, to ball driven mixes, and I love to play with and care for them all! I grew up raising rats and I love them too! I know the importance of them having social interaction, clean cages, and preferred food. I am also familiar with guinea pigs and hamsters. I also have fresh water fish tanks and can do water changes, feeding and medicine. I currently don’t have any cats (or other pets) because of my dog, so I am itching to get some quality cat time in as well! I would love the chance to care for your pets too! *I will have my 2 year old daughter with me most days. She’s very gentle with animals, but does get excited and laugh a lot. I wear her on my back in a carrier when I enter homes and walk dogs, however if your pet doesn’t like kids or is scared, I won’t be able to help this summer.
