Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. I worked in veterinary clinics for about 10 years as well as grown up on a farm, so caring for animals is something I do both professionally and personally. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, walking, and exploring, so I love bringing dogs along for adventures when it's appropriate for their personality and energy level. I build my schedule around providing reliable, attentive care, whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering medications, or simply spending quality time with your pet. I understand how important consistency is, so I do my best to maintain each pet's normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, patience, and plenty of love, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.

When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I take the time to learn their daily schedule, preferences, personality, and any special needs before you leave. I provide attentive, individualized care that includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, enrichment, medications if needed, and, of course, plenty of love and affection. Having worked in veterinary clinics for about 10 years and grown up on a farm, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all ages, energy levels, and many medical needs while also recognizing when something doesn't seem quite right. I treat every home with the same respect I would want for my own, keeping it clean, secure, and following any instructions you provide. You'll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and receiving the same level of care I'd give my own animals.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as I can so I can provide the safest and most personalized care possible. Every pet is unique, and understanding their routine helps them feel comfortable while you're away. Some of the things I like to know ahead of time include: - Their daily routine, feeding schedule, and potty schedule. - Personality traits, favorite activities, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. - Medical conditions, medications, allergies, or mobility concerns. - Any fears, anxieties, or behavioral quirks (such as thunderstorms, fireworks, strangers, or other animals). - Training cues, leash manners, recall, and any house rules you'd like me to follow. - Emergency contact information and your preferred veterinarian. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide consistent, individualized care that keeps your pet happy, healthy, and feeling at home while you're away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident from the moment we meet.
A typical day
I love keeping pets mentally and physically engaged based on their personality, age, and energy level. Whether your pet loves adventure or prefers a slower pace, I’ll tailor our time together to what makes them happiest. Activities may include neighborhood walks, hikes or new trails with your permission, fetch, tug, enrichment toys, and playtime. For quieter pets, I’m happy to cuddle, brush, relax, or simply keep them company. Every animal has different needs, and my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, enriched, and excited every time we spend time together.

Kelsey knows more about animals than I could ever imagine. She's worked in vet clinics for the past couple of years and really cares about all animals, especially horses and dogs. I'd trust her with my dog any day!
I have seen firsthand the safe, loving care she provides for her own animals, the dogs she has fostered in the past, as well as when she has taken care of ours. She makes sure to give them attention and walks/hikes. She has such a BIG heart for animals of all kinds. Kelsey is very sweet, kind, and easy to get along with.
She has and is working for a veterinarian and knows how to care for the animals, she has horses and her own dogs has raised chickens from eggs and was like a second mom. She has helped in fostering dogs and finding loving homes. You can see the love she has for animals in her own animals. She's wonderful, caring and likes the out doors.
